PrizePicks Prop Selections

  • Spinx (ENCE) - Over 39.5 Kills (Maps 1-2)

This match-up is for the first round of the playoffs of Pinnacle Cup II and Spinx has been the highest rated player on ENCE at this event with a 1.22 Rating. He has been the most consistent rifler on ENCE, and his 1.18 Rating in the past month is also the highest on the team during that time. The map pool should be favorable for Spinx but it does depend on what these teams decide to do with their bans. I think Nuke is the most likely pick for ENCE since HAVU should ban Vertigo, and Spinx has been on fire on Nuke with a 1.22 Rating and 0.77 kills per round across seven maps played in the past month. Dust2 or Inferno seem most likely as the map pick for HAVU, but I do expect ENCE to ban Dust2 since HAVU beat them 16-0 last time. Both maps have been strong for Spinx though. His last two times on Dust2 he had 28 and 24 kills, meanwhile he has only played Inferno once in the past month, but he had 24 kills on Inferno in a 19-15 overtime win against Entropiq. I expect ENCE to win this series and Spinx should lead the way, so I think he smashes this 39.5 kill total.

  • bodyy (DBL PONEY) - Under 38.5 Kills (Maps 1-2)

These teams faced back in May with slightly different rosters and bodyy finished with 32 kills across two maps. I am expecting another relatively quiet series from him based on the projected map pool. Apeks picked Overpass last time, and it would make sense for them to pick it again in this spot. Bodyy has struggled on Overpass in the past month with a 0.87 Rating and 0.55 kills per round across eight maps played, and he only had 20+ kills on one of those maps. Overpass did play out competitively last time these teams met, but bodyy finished with the second lowest number of kills on his team with 18, which seems to be about his ceiling on that map. DBL PONEY would also be starting on the CT side if Apeks pick Overpass, and we saw bodyy get overwhelmed on that side last time as the bottom frag of his team with seven kills and a 0.70 Rating at the half. DBL PONEY would likely pick Nuke if it is available, which is another map that bodyy has been below average on with a 0.95 Rating and 0.62 kills per round across seven maps played in the past month. Their other options if Nuke is banned would probably be Vertigo or Dust2, which have been fine maps for bodyy. Still, this does not look like a great spot for bodyy overall, so I like targeting his under especially at a projection of 38.5 kills, which just seems too high in general.
