Prediction/Narrative: G2 wins 2-0
There is not much to say here because G2 are a (-3600) moneyline favorite to win this series, though Aleksib is out with COVID, which means that AMANEK will be filling in for this match. AMANEK has experience playing alongside NiKo, huNter- and JACKZ, and the absence of G2’s IGL shouldn’t matter much here in such a one-sided match-up. G2 have won 17 out of 26 maps played with m0NESY and the lineup, and they are simply a much more talented team. LFO are a scrappy Oceanic team that are looking to prove themselves on an international stage, but they are way outmatched here.
- On Vertigo, NiKo & m0NESY both had 28 kills each in G2’s 16-8 win against Liquid in February. NiKo led the server with a 1.83 Rating.
- On Inferno, NiKo leads G2 with a 1.30 K/D ratio and 1.25 Rating across eight maps played in 2022.
- Inferno was one of AMANEK’s best maps in 2021 with a 1.05 Rating across 41 maps played. I think he will be hungry to prove himself coming off the bench, which could be a great time to grab him as a value play.

H2H Data:
- These rosters faced just a few weeks ago at the IEM Katowice 2022 Play-In and MOUZ won 2-0 with JDC standing in for Bymas (16-14 Vertigo / 16-6 Ancient). JDC had the most kills with 53 across two maps, while frozen was the highest rated player (1.38).
Map Projections:
Entropiq removes Inferno
MOUZ removes Overpass
Entropiq picks Ancient
MOUZ picks Vertigo
Entropiq removes Nuke
MOUZ removes Dust2
Mirage is left over.
Prediction/Narrative: Entropiq wins 2-1
Bymas was out with COVID when these teams last faced each other, and JDC did an incredible job standing in, leading the server in kills on Vertigo and Ancient. Entropiq nearly won Vertigo with their solid T side, but a heroic performance from JDC made the difference. Ancient was a bit one-sided, but that’s a risk that you take picking Ancient and starting T side, plus MOUZ once again got a heroic performance from JDC. I think these teams are evenly matched, so I like backing Entropiq as an underdog, especially since JDC won’t be a factor. Entropiq have a 6-3 W/L record across nine maps played on Ancient in 2022, and I expect a better performance from them on that map if they pick it again. I think that this will be a close series, so Entropiq makes sense to back at cheaper DK pricing.
- On Ancient, Krad leads Entropiq with a 1.18 Rating, while El1an leads with a 1.21 K/D ratio across nine maps played in 2022.
- On Vertigo, Forester leads Entropiq with a 1.20 Rating and 1.25 K/D ratio across six maps played in 2022.
- On Mirage, Lack1 leads Entropiq with a 1.13 Rating, while El1an leads with a 1.12 K/D ratio across seven maps played in 2022.
- Bymas recently mentioned that he is feeling “very confident” in his new roles within this MOUZ lineup, so he could be an interesting DFS play.

Prediction/Narrative: NiP wins 2-0
Rumors have been swirling around these two rosters lately. NiP’s lineup has been in flux ever since phzy replaced device, and in February, we became aware that NiP made a large offer to acquire Brollan from Fnatic. No move has been made yet, but Brollan is currently on Fnatic’s bench, so perhaps a move could be made at some point soon. As for Fnatic, they have two of their academy players in the lineup, one of which is Peppzor, who is playing for Brollan. Additionally, the team parted ways with smooya last month after his form dropped off, and regali is filling in on the AWP. Neither team likes to play Dust2, which could make the map veto interesting, though I expect NiP to ban Inferno, which would take away Fnatic’s best map. Fnatic played four maps in the PGL Major Antwerp Europe RMR Open Qualifier and they lost three of them. Peppzor & regali didn’t perform too poorly, but the team as a whole was unimpressive, and an organization like Fnatic should not be getting stomped by teams like AVE and Illuminar. I don’t see how you could possibly back Fnatic here against a roster that has beaten teams such as Gambit and NAVI since February, though sometimes you never know in Counter-Strike. This should be a 2-0 sweep for NiP on paper, and mezii is the only option on Fnatic that I’d maybe be interested in.
- On Mirage, es3tag leads NiP with a 1.13 Rating and 1.16 K/D ratio across four maps played in 2022.
- On Ancient, REZ leads NiP with a 1.09 Rating and 1.16 K/D ratio across six maps played in 2022.
- Mezii leads this Fnatic lineup with a 1.27 Rating and 1.16 K/D ratio across four maps played.
