H2H Data:

  • These rosters have never faced each other. The teams last met in July at IEM Cologne 2021, but both lineups have made multiple changes since. ZywOo led the server with 44 kills across two maps played.

Map Projections:

FURIA removes Dust2

Vitality removes Ancient

FURIA picks Mirage

Vitality picks Nuke

FURIA removes Overpass

Vitality removes Vertigo

Inferno is left over

Prediction/Narrative: Vitality wins 2-1

FURIA are the highest-rated team at this event through day two of Group B with a 1.16 Team Rating across five maps played, so they certainly deserve some respect for their recent form. Vitality are coming off of a loss against ENCE on Thursday, but I’m not going to overreact to that upset sweep because ENCE are a solid team that are capable of winning the group. Despite the loss, Magisk is still the highest-rated player at the event with a 1.31 Rating across four maps played, and Vitality are still a more talented team than their Brazilian opponents. I give FURIA credit to win a map here, probably Mirage which should be their map pick since Vitality have struggled on it, and it used to be the permaban for Astralis so dupreeh and Magisk may still be a bit uncomfortable on it. However, Vitality should be considered favorites on Nuke, Overpass, and Inferno, and this should be their series to win, though it might be a close one if FURIA continues their own good form.

  • On Mirage, dupreeh leads Vitality with a 0.87 Rating and 0.86 K/D ratio across four maps played in 2022.
  • On Nuke, ZywOo leads Vitality with a 1.49 Rating and 1.80 K/D ratio across one map played in 2022.
  • On Inferno, ZywOo leads Vitality with a 1.30 Rating and 1.42 K/D ratio across eight maps played in 2022.

Outsiders (World rank: #6) vs. ENCE (World rank: #15) - 11:00 A.M. ET

Moneyline Odds: Outsiders (-145) | ENCE (+120)

Map Handicap: Outsiders -1.5 (+200) | ENCE +1.5 (-250)

Map Total: Over 2.5 (+105) | Under 2.5 (-130)

  • This is a best-of-three series on LAN for the group stage of ESL Pro League Season 15 - Group B
  • Outsiders - Rating at event: YEKINDAR 1.15 | FL1T 1.14 | Jame 1.07 | buster 0.88 | Qikert 0.88
  • Outsiders - Rating past three months: YEKINDAR 1.21 | FL1T 1.16 | Jame  1.16 | buster 1.00 | Qikert 1.00
  • ENCE - Rating at event: hades 1.17 | Spinx 1.12 | Snappi 1.09 | Maden  1.06 | dycha 1.00
  • ENCE - Rating past three months: Spinx 1.18 | hades 1.13 | dycha 1.10 | Maden  0.98 | Snappi 0.97

H2H Data:

  • These rosters have never faced each other. The teams last met in a best-of-one on Ancient in December at IEM Winter 2021 when Outsiders/VP won 19-17 in overtime, though ENCE playing with doto instead of Snappi for that match.

Map Projections:

ENCE removes Inferno

Outsiders removes Nuke

ENCE picks Mirage

Outsiders picks Overpass

ENCE removes Vertigo

Outsiders removes Dust2

Ancient is left over

Prediction/Narrative: Outsiders win 2-1

Both of these teams swept their match-ups on Thursday despite both being underdogs. ENCE are tied with FURIA at the top of the group with two wins, and they are the third-highest-rated team at the event through the first two days of Group B with a 1.09 Rating across five maps played. These teams were evenly matched when they last met, and ENCE have even improved since then because Snappi was out sick for that match. I still consider these teams to be evenly matched, but the fact that Outsiders will ban Nuke seems to hurt ENCE’s map pool quite a bit. ENCE will ban Inferno, which is a strong map for Outsiders, but I still think that Outsiders have more depth in their map pool with  Overpass, Dust2, Vertigo, and Ancient all looking like solid options. I’d prefer to back Outsiders here, especially since their Draftkings pricing is similar to that of ENCE, but I would not be surprised if this was a back-and-forth series.

  • On Mirage, FL1T leads Outsiders with a 1.21 Rating, while Jame leads with a 1.14 K/D ratio across four maps played in 2022.
  • On Overpass, YEKINDAR leads Outsiders with a 1.39 Rating and 1.50 K/D ratio across four maps played in 2022.
  • On Ancient, YEKINDAR leads Outsiders with a 1.47 Rating and 1.67 K/D ratio across three maps played in 2022.

Favorite Draftkings Plays (in order of priority):

Jame ($7,400) | YEKINDAR ($9,000) | FL1T ($8,200) | dycha ($6,400) | Spinx ($8,400) | buster ($5,200) | qikert ($6,200) | hades ($7,200)

FaZe (World rank: #3) vs. Sprout (World rank: #30) - 2:30 P.M. ET

Moneyline Odds: FaZe (-680) | Sprout (+485)

Map Handicap: FaZe -1.5 (-165) | Sprout +1.5 (+135)

Map Total: Over 2.5 (+175) | Under 2.5 (-220)

  • This is a best-of-three series on LAN for the group stage of ESL Pro League Season 15 - Group B
  • FaZe - Rating at event: broky 1.14 | ropz 1.07 | Twistzz 0.99 | rain  0.88 | karrigan 0.79
  • FaZe - Rating past three months: broky 1.22 | ropz 1.15 | Twistzz 1.09 | rain 1.03 | karrigan 0.88
  • Sprout - Rating at event: Staehr 0.99 | Marix 0.84 | -slaxz 0.83 | raalz  0.82 | Spiidi 0.77
  • Sprout - Rating past three months: -slaxz 1.15 | Spiidi 1.03 | Marix 1.00 | Staehr 0.97 | raalz 0.95

H2H Data:

  • These rosters have never faced each other. The teams last met in February at the IEM Katowice 2022 Play-in tournament, though jks was standing in for ropz at that time.  FaZe won 16-12 on Overpass in a best-of-one and rain led the way with 28 kills and a 1.67 Rating.

Map Projections:

Sprout removes Nuke

FaZe removes Vertigo

Sprout picks Dust2

FaZe picks Inferno

Sprout removes Mirage

FaZe removes Ancient

Overpass is left over

Prediction/Narrative: FaZe wins 2-0

Sprout managed to win 12 rounds on Overpass when these teams last faced each other, but the match was basically never in doubt for FaZe. Sprout only managed to win three T side rounds in a 12-3 half for FaZe, and then it was only a matter of time before FaZe closed it out, though FaZe failed to establish their economy early through the pistol round. Both broky and rain finished with an ace, and the only player with a Rating below one for FaZe was the stand-in, jks. I do think that Sprout are an underrated team at this event but FaZe are now 0-2 in the group stage and they will be hungry for the win against a team that they should easily beat. The amount of firepower on the side of FaZe should be too much for Sprout to overcome, and the only map that I could maybe see Sprout winning would be Dust2. FaZe have lost both times on Dust2 at this event, but in February they beat BIG, Gambit and G2 on that map, and they should still be considered a favorite on Dust2 against Sprout. FaZe will likely sweep here, so I would generally stay away from Sprout on Draftkings.

  • On Dust2, broky leads FaZe with a 1.14 Rating and a 1.21 K/D ratio across four maps played with this lineup.
  • On Inferno, broky leads FaZe with a 1.12 Rating and a 1.24 K/D ratio across five maps played with this lineup.
  • On Overpass, ropz leads FaZe with a 1.24 Rating and a 1.32 K/D ratio across five maps played with this lineup.

Favorite Draftkings Plays (in order of priority):
