Fnatic (World rank: #34) vs. Into the Breach (World rank: #63) – 10:00 A.M. ET
Moneyline Odds: Fnatic (-515) | Into the Breach (+380)
Map Handicap: Fnatic -1.5 (-145) | Into the Breach +1.5 (+120)
- This is an online best-of-three series for the Group B upper bracket quarter-finals of REPUBLEAGUE Season 3.
- Fnatic - Rating at event: N/A
- Fnatic - Rating past three months: roeJ 1.14 | nicoodoz 1.13 | HEAP 1.03 | KRIMZ 0.99 | mezii 0.97
- Into the Breach - Rating at event: N/A
- Into the Breach - Rating past three months: smooya 1.27 | Thomas 1.16 | CYPHER 1.04 | Adam9130 1.01 | dobbo 0.92
H2H Data:
- These rosters have never faced each other/
Prediction/Narrative: Fnatic wins 2-0.
Fnatic still have not determined the final fifth member of their lineup, but for now, HEAP will be trialing with the team, and this will be his first opportunity to prove himself. Regardless of this situation, the firepower on Fnatic should be more than enough to carry them to an easy victory here. Fnatic have only a 2-4 W/L record across six maps played since adding roeJ & nicoodoz, but they have only played tier one opponents in Heroic & BIG, and the fact that they were already able to steal a map from two of the best teams in the world says a lot about their potential. The storyline for Into the Breach here would be a possible smooya ‘revenge narrative’ considering he trialed with the team earlier in the year before eventually being cut. Still, I just don't think Into the Breach have what it takes to beat a more talented Fnatic lineup. Into the Breach have an 8-9 W/L record across 17 maps played in the past month, and none of the teams that they played are as good on paper as Fnatic. This could easily be a sweep for Fnatic.
- KRIMZ leads Fnatic with a 1.10 Rating across six maps played with roeJ & nicoodoz.
- roeJ leads Fnatic with 0.15 opening kills per round during that time.

Finest (World rank: #19) vs. SINNERS (World rank: #45) – 1:00 P.M. ET
Moneyline Odds: Finest (-410) | SINNERS (+315)
Map Handicap: Finest -1.5 (-115) | SINNERS +1.5 (-105)
- This is an online best-of-three series for the Group B upper bracket quarter-finals of REPUBLEAGUE Season 3.
- Fnatic - Rating at event: N/A
- Fnatic - Rating past three months: anarkez 1.11 | shokz 1.07 | PlesseN 1.06 | kreaz 1.04 | twist 1.02
- Into the Breach - Rating at event: N/A
- Into the Breach - Rating past three months: forsyy 1.21 | SHOCK 1.03 | ZEDKO 1.02 | beastik 1.00 | Tomkeejs 0.83
H2H Data:
- These rosters have never faced each other. The teams last played in March, prior to the departure of NEOFRAG from SINNERS, and Finest won 2-0 (16-12 Inferno / 16-4 Mirage). Shokz led the server with 43 kills and a 1.40 Rating across two maps.
Prediction/Narrative: Finest wins 2-1.
This Finest lineup has never dropped a map against SINNERS across four maps played, and now SINNERS are playing with their coach, Tomkeejs, since NEOFRAG joined OG. However, SINNERS actually haven't been all that bad with Tomkeejs in the lineup, and they have a 13-8 W/L record across 21 maps played with this lineup. SINNERS are now on a four-series win streak that includes victories against eSuba, KOVA, EC Kyiv, and Entropiq Prague. Thus, SINNERS have proven that their lineup is still good enough to compete at the tier two level, even with their coach standing in. As for Finest, they have found their best form ever, and they are now a top 20 team in the world rankings. Finest have a 19-10 W/L record across 29 maps played in the past month, and they have managed a win rate of at least 60% on Overpass, Inferno, Vertigo, and Mirage during that time. Finest should certainly be the favorites here, especially given the past history between these teams, but the odds still seem too lopsided to me. We are getting a huge discount for SINNERS on Draftkings, and I think this could very well be a close series. I still expect FInest to win, but I don't mind getting some exposure to SINNERS since this series could stay tight and the pricing is cheap.
- anarkez leads Finest with a 1.17 Rating and 1.28 K/D ratio across 29 maps played in the past month.
- PlesseN leads Finest with 0.13 opening kills per round during that time.
