Moneyline Odds: FaZe (-2015) | paiN (+1150)

Map Handicap: FaZe -1.5 (-325) | paiN +1.5 (+255)

  • This is a best-of-three series on LAN for BLAST Premier Spring Final 2022 – Group A
  • FaZe - Rating at event: N/A
  • FaZe - Rating past three months: ropz 1.14 | broky 1.13 | rain  1.12 | Twistzz 1.12 | karrigan 0.95
  • paiN - Rating at event: N/A
  • paiN - Rating past three months: biguzera 1.18 | nython 1.16 | hardzao 1.14 | NEKIZ 1.12 | PKL 1.05

H2H Data:

  • These rosters have never faced each other.

Prediction/Narrative:FaZe wins 2-0.

FaZe are the biggest favorites on the slate and their implied odds give them over a 95% to chance win here. FaZe are still the best team in the world, and their roster has maintained an impressive 43-21 W/L record across 64 maps played. PaiN look good on paper, but keep in mind that they typically play in the North American/South American region, which is much weaker than Europe. FaZe have a win rate of at least 60% on every map in the pool, including their permaban, Vertigo, and they should be able to sweep with ease in this spot.

  • FaZe K/D Leaders past three months: ropz 1.25 | broky 1.24 | Twistzz 1.16 | rain 1.04
  • rain leads FaZe with 0.14 opening kills per round across 51 maps played in the past three months.

G2 (World rank: #8) vs. Vitality (World rank: #10) – 8:00 A.M. ET

Moneyline Odds: G2 (-170) | Vitality (+140)

Map Handicap: G2 -1.5 (+175) | Vitality +1.5 (-220)

  • This is a best-of-three series on LAN for BLAST Premier Spring Final 2022 – Group A
  • G2 - Rating at event: N/A
  • G2 - Rating past three months: NiKo 1.23 | m0NESY  1.11 | huNter- 1.09 | Aleksib 0.95 | JACKZ 0.93
  • Vitality - Rating at event: N/A
  • Vitality - Rating past three months: ZywOo 1.21 | Magisk 1.09 | dupreeh 1.03 | apEX  0.92 | misutaaa 0.91

H2H Data:

  • These rosters faced earlier this month at IEM Dallas 2022 and G2 won 2-0 (16-7 Dust2 / 16-14 Inferno). NiKo led the server with 46 kills and a 1.45 Rating.

Prediction/Narrative: Vitality wins 2-1.

Yes, G2 did get the best of Vitality just a couple of weeks ago, but I don’t want to overreact to that loss. G2 were (-125) favorites in that series, and now they are (-170) favorites on this slate, so I feel as though we are getting a discount with Vitality in this spot. G2’s best map, Inferno, was extremely close between these teams, going the full 30 rounds. Plus, Vitality picked Dust2, which is G2’s most played map, so I think Vitality can pick a better option this time around, like Mirage, where G2 have struggled as of late. Vitality have won six of their last eight on Mirage, and I think they are capable of taking that map from G2 if it is played. Overall, these teams are fairly evenly matched, but my angle in this series is to take the discount on Draftkings with Vitality considering this match-up was basically a coinflip just two weeks ago. This is certainly a winnable series for Vitality as the underdogs.

  • Vitality K/D Leaders past three months: ZywOo 1.29 | Magisk 1.04 | dupreeh 1.00
  • ZywOo leads Vitality with 0.13 opening kills per round across 43 maps played in the past three months.

Other Plays To Consider:

misutaaa ($5,000) | huNter- ($7,800)

NAVI (World rank: #3) vs. OG (World rank: #24) – 5:00 A.M. ET

Moneyline Odds: NAVI (-370) | OG (+285)

Map Handicap: NAVI -1.5 (Even) | OG +1.5 (-125)

  • This is a best-of-three series on LAN for BLAST Premier Spring Final 2022 – Group B
  • NAVI - Rating at event: N/A
  • NAVI - Rating past three months: s1mple 1.35 | b1t  1.18 | electronic 1.11 | Perfecto 1.07 | sdy 1.06
  • OG - Rating at event: N/A
  • OG - Rating past three months: degster  1.23 | NEOFRAG 1.14 | F1KU 1.10 | flameZ 1.04 | nexa  0.99

H2H Data:

  • These rosters have never faced each other.

Prediction/Narrative: NAVI wins 2-0.

We have a lot of moving parts in this series. NAVI parted ways with their former IGL, Boombl4, which means two things: 1) electronic is the IGL for NAVI at the moment and 2) sdy is standing in as the fifth man on the roster. It seems reasonable to expect electronic’s fragging to decline while he has to bear the responsibility of being the in-game leader. Other than that, NAVI should still be elite. Sdy is a solid stand-in, at least for the time being, and Boombl4 was the lowest-rated player on NAVI in the past. We can expect NAVI to play a scrappier playstyle of Counter-Strike, but they should have enough talent to get the win here. OG just added NEOFRAG & F1KU as new players, and now they are without mantuu for this event, so degster is standing in on the AWP. Degster is an excellent stand-in, but it doesn’t help having a stand-in when you consider this is already a young, inexperienced team playing in a LAN environment. We haven’t seen either of these lineups play a single map yet, so there aren’t any stats they we can comfortably rely on to analyze the match-up, but I think NAVI should have a massive edge in this spot.

  • NAVI K/D Leaders past three months: s1mple 1.48 | b1t 1.22 | Perfecto 1.13 | electronic 1.08
  • s1mple leads NAVI with 0.15 opening kills per round across 34 maps played in the past three  months.

Favorite Draftkings Plays (In order of priority):

s1mple ($9,400) | b1t ($8,400) | Perfecto ($6,600) | sdy ($5,600) | flameZ ($5,400)

Other Plays To Consider:

electronic ($7,400) | degster ($7,600) | NEOFRAG ($7,000)

ENCE (World rank: #2) vs. BIG (World rank: #11) – 2:00 P.M. ET

Moneyline Odds: ENCE (-255) | BIG (+200)

Map Handicap: ENCE -1.5 (+125) | BIG +1.5 (-150)

  • This is a best-of-three series on LAN for BLAST Premier Spring Final 2022 – Group B
  • ENCE - Rating at event: N/A
  • ENCE - Rating past three months: Spinx 1.16 | dycha  1.10 | hades 1.07 | Maden 1.04 | Snappi 0.98
  • BIG - Rating at event: N/A
  • BIG - Rating past three months: syrsoN 1.13 | tabseN 1.11 | faveN 1.08 | Krimbo 1.02 | tiziaN 0.91

H2H Data:

  • These rosters have never faced each other. Both lineups have changed since the teams last met in October 2021.

Prediction/Narrative: ENCE wins 2-1.

Last week, Krimbo had to leave the Pinnacle Cup Championship due to COVID-19, and k1to stood in for him. That was only a few days ago, and it is entirely possible that Krimbo is still not fully recovered. The BLAST Premier Twitter page posted a picture of BIG with k1to, which could mean that k1to traveled with the team and will at least start the event in BIG’s lineup, though I haven’t seen an official statement to confirm it at this point. Thus, it is extremely risky to play k1to or Krimbo in your DFS lineup, but perhaps we will find out more information before the slate locks. Either way, ENCE are back to their full roster with Spinx and they should be the clear favorites here. ENCE have an impressive 48-23 W/L record across 71 maps played with this lineup, and they have a winning record on every map in the pool, besides their permaban, Inferno. ENCE are the better team, and BIG are likely playing without Krimbo, so all signs point to an ENCE victory. Still, I could see BIG winning a map, especially Dust2 or even Mirage if one of those maps is played. This could be a fairly close series, but I expect ENCE to come out on top in the end.

  • ENCE K/D Leaders past three months: Spinx 1.22 | hades 1.16 | dycha 1.08
  • Spinx & Maden lead this ENCE lineup with 0.11 opening kills per round across 71 maps played in the past three months.

Favorite Draftkings Plays (In order of priority):

Spinx ($9,000) | hades ($7,200) | dycha ($8,000) | Maden ($6,400) | tabseN ($7,000) | syrsoN ($7,600)

Other Plays To Consider:
