Heroic (World rank: #9) vs. Finest (World rank: #29) – 10:00 A.M. ET
Moneyline Odds: Heroic (-585) | Finest (+425)
Map Handicap: Heroic -1.5 (-150) | Finest +1.5 (+125)
- This is a best-of-three series on LAN for the lower bracket final of Pinnacle Cup Championship 2022.
- Heroic - Rating at event: stavn 1.33 | sjuush 1.15 | refrezh 1.09 | TeSeS 1.08 | cadiaN 0.95
- Heroic - Rating past three months: stavn 1.24 | TeSeS 1.11 | sjuush 1.09 | cadiaN 1.09 | refrezh 1.03
- Finest - Rating at event: anarkez 1.36 | PlesseN 1.35 | kreaz 1.06 | shokz 1.05 | twist 0.99
- Finest - Rating past three months: anarkez 1.11 | PlesseN 1.08 | shokz 1.07 | kreaz 1.06 | twist 1.02
H2H Data:
- These rosters have never faced each other.
Prediction/Narrative: Heroic wins 2-1.
These are the two highest-rated teams at the event, and Finest is actually the highest overall with a 1.16 Team Rating across five maps played. Anarkez & PlesseN are also both within the top three players at the event, while stavn & sjuush are both in the top eight. On Thursday, Finest pulled a 2-0 upset over Imperial, and they are not a team to be slept on. Finest also beat a top 10 team just a few weeks ago when they took down Spirit just after the Major. Still, I think Heroic are a much better team and the Danes will be difficult to take down in a best-of-three. Heroic have at least an 80% win rate in the past three months on Overpass, Vertigo, and Inferno, and that does not include their 6-3 W/L record on Nuke, which used to be their favorite map. Finest can certainly make this a close series, and I could even see them taking a map like Mirage, but ultimately, I expect Heroic to prevail.
- Heroic K/D Leaders at Event: stavn 1.42 | sjuush 1.16 | TeSeS 1.12 | refrezh 1.08
- stavn leads Heroic with 0.16 opening kills per round across five maps played at this event.

BIG (World rank: #11) vs. Astralis (World rank: #13) – 2:00 P.M. ET
Moneyline Odds: BIG (-150) | Astralis (+120)
Map Handicap: BIG -1.5 (+220) | Astralis +1.5 (-280)
- This is a best-of-three series on LAN for the upper bracket final of Pinnacle Cup Championship 2022.
- BIG - Rating at event: syrsoN 1.16 | faveN 1.14 | tabseN 1.06 | Krimbo 1.04 | tiziaN 0.98
- BIG - Rating past three months: syrsoN 1.14 | tabseN 1.12 | faveN 1.10 | Krimbo 1.02 | tiziaN 0.92
- Astralis - Rating at event: blameF 1.59 | Xyp9x 1.03 | Farlig 1.03 | gla1ve 0.82 | k0nfig 0.81
- Astralis - Rating past three months: blameF 1.27 | k0nfig 1.10 | Farlig 1.02 | Xyp9x 0.95 | gla1ve 0.95
H2H Data:
- These rosters have never faced each other. The teams faced in February, but both rosters have changed as it was prior to Astralis adding Farlig and BIG adding Krimbo. Astralis won that series 2-1 (16-9 Ancient / 5-16 Dust2 / 16-13 Overpass) and k0nfig led with 57 kills and a 1.21 Rating across three maps played.
Prediction/Narrative: BIG wins 2-0.
BIG’s lineup has won 66.6% of their total maps played, while Astralis have won 55.5%. I wanted to have hope for Astralis that this would be the event that they put all of the pieces together, but blameF has just hard carried them so far. Sure, it’s nice to see blameF playing well, but I don’t love that they are 2-0 and their second highest-rated player is Xyp9x with a 1.03 Rating. On top of that, k0nfig sits at the bottom of his team with a 0.81 Rating at the event, which is not what you want to see from your star rifler, especially when Astralis have won both series against mediocre opponents. BIG sit ahead of Astralis with a 1.08 Team Rating at the event, and they seem to be playing better as a team, whereas Astralis is just the ‘blameF show’ at the moment. Astralis could win on Ancient, but the rest of the map pool looks strong for BIG. The Germans have at least a 70% win rate on Nuke, Mirage, Dust2, and Overpass, and their Vertigo has looked good – they have just faced difficult opponents. Overall, I think BIG should be a much bigger favorite here based on what their roster has shown compared to Astralis, and I think they are capable of sweeping here. If Astralis do take a map, it would likely be Ancient, but I just don’t think the Danes are playing well enough across the board to take down BIG in this spot.
- BIG K/D Leaders at Event: syrsoN 1.21 | faveN 1.21 | Krimbo 1.06
- syrsoN leads BIG with 0.16 opening kills per round across four maps played at this event.
