Liquid (World rank: #13) vs. MIBR (World rank: #24) – 12:00 P.M. ET
Moneyline Odds: Liquid (-405) | MIBR (+310)
Map Handicap: Liquid -1.5 (-120) | MIBR +1.5 (Even)
- This is a best-of-three series on LAN for the Group B Lower Bracket Semi-Finals of IEM Dallas 2022.
- Liquid - Rating at event: NAF 1.23 | oSee 1.14 | EliGE 1.10 | shox 0.93 | nitr0 0.69
- Liquid - Rating past three months: NAF 1.21 | EliGE 1.19 | oSee 1.15 | nitr0 0.98 | shox 0.97
- MIBR - Rating at event: chelo 1.19 | JOTA 1.16 | Tuurtle 1.04 | exit 0.93 | BIT 0.92
- MIBR - Rating past three months: JOTA 1.25 | chelo 1.18 | Tuurtle 1.09 | exit 1.09 | BIT 1.00
H2H Data:
- These rosters have never faced each other.
Prediction/Narrative: Liquid wins 2-0.
Liquid look to be back on track with a sweep against Imperial after opening the event with a loss against Cloud9, meanwhile MIBR’s only map win at this event came against Complexity, who is the lowest-rated team at the entire tournament. Liquid are fighting for a playoff spot in front of their home crowd, and I don’t think that they will let a team with a stand-in stop them. BIT actually had a decent first day of the event, but he was a liability in MIBR’s best-of-three against BIG, particularly on Mirage where he finished with 18 kills, 30 deaths, and 0.69 Rating in a 22-18 double overtime loss. Liquid should take away Nuke, which is one of MIBR’s best maps, and the rest of the map pool looks wide open for them to secure the win, and likely sweep.
- Liquid K/D Leaders at event: NAF 1.22 | oSee 1.13 | EliGE 1.10
- oSee leads Liquid with 0.15 opening kills per round across three maps played at this event.
Favorite Draftkings Plays (In order of priority):
oSee ($8,200) | NAF ($10,000) | EliGE ($9,000) | shox ($6,000) | nitr0 ($6,800) | JOTA ($7,200)
G2 (World rank: #8) vs. Vitality (World rank: #10) – 3:30 P.M. ET
Moneyline Odds: G2 (-125) | Vitality (+105)
Map Handicap: G2 -1.5 (+230) | Vitality +1.5 (-295)
- This is a best-of-three series on LAN for the Group A Lower Bracket Final of IEM Dallas 2022. Winning team advances to quarter-finals, losing team is eliminated.
- G2 - Rating at event: NiKo 1.18 | m0NESY 1.16 | Aleksib 1.05 | huNter- 1.02 | JACKZ 0.90
- G2 - Rating past three months: NiKo 1.17 | m0NESY 1.14 | hUnter- 1.11 | JACKZ 0.95 | Aleksib 0.93
- Vitality - Rating at event: ZywOo 1.37 | Magisk 1.22 | dupreeh 1.15 | misutaaa 0.91 | apEX 0.89
- Vitality - Rating past three months: ZywOo 1.22 | Magisk 1.09 | dupreeh 1.03 | apEX 0.94 | misutaaa 0.92
H2H Data:
- These rosters faced in February at BLAST Premier Spring Groups 2022 and Vitality won 2-1 (16-10 Inferno / 4-16 Mirage / 16-12 Dust2). Despite the losing effort, NiKo led the server with 62 kills and a 1.36 Rating across three maps played.
Prediction/Narrative: Vitality wins 2-1.
Vitality have been the higher-rated team at this event with a 1.11 Team Rating compared to 1.06 for G2. Vitality have also seemingly had the more difficult path to this point with this only loss coming against the number one team in the world, FaZe, meanwhile got swept by ENCE, who are playing with a stand-in. Vitality also beat G2 when these teams last met. Thus, I think Vitality should be the favorite in this match-up. These teams have played some close maps in the past and I could see this being a tight series. Both teams have their highest win rates on Inferno & Dust2, and they are both also good on Mirage & Vertigo. ZywOo is currently the fourth highest-rated player at this event, and I think he can carry his team against G2 given the recent form of both squads.
- Vitality K/D Leaders at event: ZywOo 1.58 | dupreeh 1.23 | Magisk 1.13
- ZywOo leads Vitality with 0.15 opening kills per round across five maps played at this event.
Favorite Draftkings Plays (In order of priority):
ZywOo ($9,200) | dupreeh ($7,000) | Magisk ($7,800) | NiKo ($8,400) | m0NESY ($7,400) | misutaaa ($5,200)
FaZe (World rank: #1) vs. ENCE (World rank: #3) – 3:30 P.M. ET
Moneyline Odds: FaZe (-335) | ENCE (+265)
Map Handicap: FaZe -1.5 (+105) | ENCE +1.5 (-125)
- This is a best-of-three series on LAN for the Group A Upper Bracket Final of IEM Dallas 2022. Winning team advances to semi-finals, losing team goes to quarter-finals.
- FaZe - Rating at event: Twistzz 1.46 | ropz 1.33 | broky 1.23 | karrigan 1.11 | rain 1.03
- FaZe - Rating past three months: ropz 1.16 | broky 1.16 | rain 1.14 | Twistzz 1.12 | karrigan 0.97
- ENCE - Rating at event: dycha 1.28 | Maden 1.19 | hades 1.18 | Snax 0.94 | Snappi 0.86
- ENCE - Rating past three months: dycha 1.12 | hades 1.09 | Maden 1.03 | Snappi 0.99 | Snax 0.92
H2H Data:
- These rosters have never faced each other. The teams faced in May at PGL Major Antwerp 2022 in a best-of-one on Mirage that ENCE won 16-8, though Snax was not standing in for Spinx at that time. Spinx led the server with 26 kills and a 1.68 Rating.
Prediction/Narrative: FaZe wins 2-1.
ENCE showed that they can hang with FaZe at the Major, but they should have a difficult time taking down the number one team in the world in a best-of-three with their best player, Spixn, on the sidelines. ENCE have actually looked decent at this event with wins against MOUZ & G2, but FaZe have continued their amazing form and currently lead the event with a 1.23 Team Rating. FaZe are looking to get closer towards an Intel Grand Slam, and I expect them to beat ENCE this time around with Snax on the server. FaZe have won eight series in a row and their map pool matches up well against ENCE. It would not surprise me to see ENCE put forth a solid effort as they often tend to do, but FaZe should have this series win in a 2-1 fashion at the very least.
- FaZe K/D Leaders at event: Twistzz 1.79 | ropz 1.51 | broky 1.31
- karrigan & Twistzz lead FaZe with 0.15 opening kills per round across three maps played at this event.
Favorite Draftkings Plays (In order of priority):
Twistzz ($7,000) | broky ($8,800) | ropz ($10,200) | karrigan ($5,800) | dycha ($7,200) | rain ($8,000) | hades ($6,400) | Snax ($4,200)
FURIA (World rank: #7) vs. BIG (World rank: #15) – 7:00 P.M. ET
Moneyline Odds: FURIA (-190) | BIG (+155)
Map Handicap: FURIA -1.5 (+160) | BIG +1.5 (-195)
- This is a best-of-three series on LAN for the Group B Upper Bracket Final of IEM Dallas 2022. Winning team advances to semi-finals, losing team goes to quarter-finals.
- FURIA - Rating at event: yuurih 1.39 | saffee 1.22 | KSCERATO 1.07 | arT 1.04 | drop 0.95
- FURIA - Rating past three months: yuurih 1.23 | KSCERATO 1.15 | arT 1.06 | saffee 1.05 | drop 1.02
- BIG - Rating at event: tabseN 1.28 | faveN 1.25 | Krimbo 1.21 | syrsoN 1.17 | tiziaN 0.86
- BIG - Rating past three months: syrsoN 1.17 | tabseN 1.15 | faveN 1.14 | Krimbo 1.06 | tiziaN 0.97
H2H Data:
- These rosters faced in May at PGL Major Antwerp 2022 and FURIA won 16-10 in a best-of-one on Vertigo. Saffee led the server with 25 kills and a 1.55 Rating.
Prediction/Narrative: BIG wins 2-1.
BIG are one of the teams that got a late invite to this event, but they have showed up with a strong performance so far. They are currently tied as the second highest-rated team with a 1.16 Team Rating, and they have the second highest K/D ratio as a team at 1.23. This lineup from BIG has steadily improved since adding Krimbo & faveN and they are now 22-10 as a unit across 32 maps played. FURIA should take away Dust2, which has been BIG’s favorite map in the past, but BIG have a win rate of at least 66.7% on Ancient, Mirage, Nuke, and Overpass as well, so their map pool is still fairly deep. I certainly see BIG as a live underdog in this spot, and I am happy to target them on Draftkings where tabseN, the sixth highest-rated player at the event, is only $6,800. Yuurih is the third-highest rated player at the event and is an option to consider on FURIA, but his price tag is much greater at $9,600.
- BIG K/D Leaders at event: tabseN 1.37 | Krimbo 1.34 | syrsoN 1.32 | faveN 1.27
- tabseN leads BIG with 0.15 opening kills per round across three maps played at this event.
Favorite Draftkings Plays (In order of priority):
tabseN ($6,800) | syrsoN ($7,600) | Krimbo ($5,400) | faveN ($6,200) | yuurih ($9,600) | saffee ($6,600) | KSCERATO ($8,600)
