Moneyline Odds: ENCE (-135) | Copenhagen Flames (+110)
Map Handicap: ENCE -1.5 (+215) | Copenhagen Flames +1.5 (-270)
Map Total: Over 2.5 (+105) | Under 2.5 (-130)
- This is a best-of-three online series for the quarter-finals of BLAST Premier Spring Showdown 2022 Europe
- ENCE - Rating at event: N/A
- ENCE - Rating past three months: Spinx 1.17 | hades 1.12 | dycha 1.11 | Maden 1.02 | Snappi 0.97
- Copenhagen Flames - Rating at event: N/A
- Copenhagen Flames - Rating past three months: roeJ 1.24 | jabbi 1.14 | nicoodoz 1.13 | Zyphon 1.08 | HooXi 0.93
H2H Data:
- These rosters faced last month at Pinnacle Cup III and Copenhagen Flames swept 2-0 (16-12 Mirage / 16-8 Vertigo). It should be noted that KEi stood in for Maden on the first map because Maden lost power. RoeJ led the server with 47 kills and a 1.34 Rating across two maps.
Map Projections:
Copenhagen Flames removes Dust2
ENCE removes Inferno
Copenhagen Flames picks Vertigo
ENCE picks Nuke
Copenhagen Flames removes Mirage
ENCE removes Ancient
Overpass is left over
Prediction/Narrative: ENCE wins 2-1.
Yes, Copenhagen Flames won when these teams met just about a month ago, but Maden was apparently having issues with his power, and he missed the first map with KEi standing in. Maden then had an uncharacteristically bad performance on the next map with six kills and a 0.27 Rating on Vertigo. We should be able to expect a better showing from ENCE this time around with their full lineup for the entire series. Still, Copenhagen Flames have been hot as of late though having won six series in a row, and they also just locked in their Legends spot at the upcoming Major. As for ENCE, they have also been in good form after their second place finish at ESL Pro League Season 15, and they are now ranked top five in the world.
ENCE picked Mirage last time, but they have proven that they are one of the best Nuke teams in the world, so they might consider picking Nuke this time. ENCE have a 12-2 W/L record on Nuke in the past three months including a dominant 16-4 win against NAVI, so I don’t think that they will be concerned picking into it against the Danes, who are also comfortable on Nuke. If ENCE play their best game, then they can beat anybody on Nuke. If ENCE decide to stick with Mirage, then they should be considered favorites with their full lineup this time. Copenhagen Flames will likely pick Vertigo again considering it has been their best map in the past three months while also being ENCE’s worst map (besides Inferno, their permaban). The decider could come down to Overpass where ENCE have beaten FaZe twice in the past month and a half. ENCE have a very strong CT side on Overpass with a 65.2% CT round win rate and their 5v4 conversion rate is impressive at 80.4% across 12 maps played in the past three months. All things considered, I give ENCE an edge here, but this is setting up to be a tight series that could go three maps.
- On Vertigo, Spinx leads ENCE with a 1.19 Rating and 1.24 K/D ratio across eight maps played in the past three months.
- On Nuke, hades leads ENCE with a 1.22 Rating and 1.40 K/D ratio across 14 maps played in the past three months.
- On Overpass, Spinx leads ENCE with a 1.19 Rating, while hades leads with a 1.26 K/D ratio across 12 maps played in the past three months.
- Maden leads ENCE with 23.8% opening duel attempts across 68 maps played in the past three months.

Map Projections:
NKT removes Ancient
Heroic removes Dust2
NKT picks Vertigo
Heroic picks Overpass
NKT removes Nuke
Heroic removes Inferno
Mirage is left over
Prediction/Narrative: Heroic wins 2-0.
The odds are extremely lopsided here with Heroic as a (-3400) moneyline favorite, which tells you all you need to know about this series. NKT announced earlier this month that they parted ways with cool4st, and they just announced that they signed Annihilation, so their roster on Draftkings appears to be incorrect at this point in time. Definitely don’t play cool4st on this slate, but in general, I’d basically completely stay away from all of these NKT guys. Heroic should demolish them. Heroic have been in excellent form as the number four team in the world. The Danes have a 25-11 W/L record across 36 maps played in the past three months, and they have managed a win rate of at least 66.7% on every map besides Ancient (and their permaban, Dust2). I doubt that NKT can catch Heroic off guard with any hyper-aggressive tactics considering Heroic love that type of Counter-Strike themselves, especially in an online environment.
We’ve seen Heroic make some wild decisions as heavy favorites in spots like these, like floating through Dust2 or something, so you never know what maps we might see. Maybe NKT decide to float through Ancient and Heroic lean into that map, who knows. Still, Vertigo & Overpass make the most sense as the first two maps and I doubt we see a third map played here. This series has a 2-0 sweep for Heroic written all over it.
- On Vertigo, stavn & sjuush lead Heroic with a 1.20 Rating, while sjuush leads with a 1.31 K/D ratio across six maps played in the past three months.
- On Overpass, stavn leads Heroic with a 1.31 Rating and 1.39 K/D ratio across eight maps played in the past three months.
- TeSeS leads Heroic with 22.3% opening duel attempts across 36 maps played in the past three months.

H2H Data:
- These rosters faced on Saturday at the IEM Dallas 2022 North American Closed Qualifier and GODSENT swept 2-0 (16-6 Overpass / 16-12 Vertigo). Dumau topped the leaderboards with 47 kills and a 1.45 Rating across two maps played.
Map Projections:
Evil Geniuses removes Ancient
GODSENT removes Inferno
Evil Geniuses picks Mirage
GODSENT picks Vertigo
Evil Geniuses removes Nuke
GODSENT removes Dust2
Overpass is left over
Prediction/Narrative: GODSENT wins 2-1.
These teams just faced each other a few days ago and things did not look good for Evil Geniuses. They only managed to win six rounds on their map pick, Overpass, and GODSENT took the series in two maps. GODSENT continue to improve since adding HEN1, and they have a 12-12 W/L record across 24 maps played. EG’s lineup has a 16-26 W/L record across 42 maps played, and their roster appears to be trending in the wrong direction.
Inferno is EG’s most played map, but GODSENT will likely ban it to start again. GODSENT have yet to record a win on Mirage with HEN1 in the lineup, so I think Evil Geniuses would be better off trying their luck on that map rather than re-matching on Overpass. As for GODSENT, Vertigo seems like a strong option for them again considering EG have an 0-8 W/L record on that map while GODSENT are 3-0. Overall, GODSENT have looked like the better team and they just proved it on the server on Saturday, so I think they can win again in this spot. Evil Geniuses do not have a deep enough map pool to feel comfortable in this best-of-three, especially if Inferno is removed to start. Still, Evil Geniuses will likely do better than they did last time, and I anticipate that they might consider switching their map pick to give themselves a better chance of victory.
- On Mirage, dumau leads this GODSENT lineup with a 1.03 Rating and 0.94 K/D ratio across two maps played.
- On Vertigo, b4rtiN leads this GODSENT lineup with a 1.38 Rating and 1.63 K/D ratio across three maps played.
- On Overpass, HEN1 leads this GODSENT lineup with a 1.53 Rating and 2.13 K/D ratio across three maps played.
- TACO leads this GODSENT lineup with 24.1% opening duel attempts across 24 maps played.
