Natus Vincere (World rank: #2) vs. Vitality (World rank: #11) - 8:45 A.M. ET

Moneyline Odds: Natus Vincere (-210) | Vitality (+170)

Map Handicap: Natus Vincere -1.5 (+150) | Vitality +1.5 (-180)

Map Total: Over 2.5 (+115) | Under 2.5 (-135)

  • This is a best-of-three on LAN for PGL Major Antwerp 2022 Europe RMR A - Swiss Round 4 (teams with a 2-1 record). Winner will either qualify directly to Legends Stage, or proceed to the 4th place decider match, based on seeding.
  • Natus Vincere - Rating at event: s1mple 1.46 | b1t 1.05 | electronic  1.03 | Boombl4 0.99 | Perfecto 0,98

  • Vitality - Rating past three months: ZywOo 1.18 | dupreeh 1.10 | Magisk 1.06 | apEX 1.00 | misutaaa  0.92

H2H Data:

  • These rosters have never faced each other. The teams last faced in December at BLAST Premier World Final 2021 and NAVI won 2-0 (16-12 Nuke / 16-5 Dust2), though Vitality were playing with shox and Kyojin for that series. S1mple & electronic each had a 1.44 Rating with 44 and 43 kills respectively across two maps played.

Prediction/Narrative: NAVI wins 2-0.

NAVI stumbled on Monday with a loss against Heroic, but the defending Major champions are sure to bounce back with a spot in the Legends Stage in the Major on the line. NAVI have dominated this match-up historically, though they have never faced this iteration of Vitality. Still, I don’t think that Vitality are in good enough form to take down NAVI at the moment. Vitality might be able to steal a map like Inferno, but the rest of the map pool looks well in the favor of NAVI. S1mple still leads the event as the highest-rated player, and his indivIdual form should be able to carry NAVI.

Fnatic (World rank: #16) vs. Eternal Fire (World rank: #40) - 8:45 A.M. ET

Moneyline Odds: Fnatic (-150) | Eternal Fire (+125)

Map Handicap: Fnatic -1.5 (+195) | Eternal Fire +1.5 (-240)

Map Total: Over 2.5 (+110) | Under 2.5 (-130)

  • This is a best-of-three on LAN for PGL Major Antwerp 2022 Europe RMR A - Swiss Round 4 (teams with a 1-2 record). Losing team is eliminated.
  • Fnatic - Rating at event: poizon 1.19 | ALEX 1.07 | KRIMZ 0.98 | mezii 0.94 | Peppzor 0.71
  • Fnatic - Rating past three months: mezii 1.10 | poizon  1.05 | KRIMZ 1.04 | ALEX 0.97 | Peppzor 0.97
  • Eternal Fire - Rating at event: Calyx 1.13 | woxic  1.00 | XANTARES 0.97 | imoRR 0.88 | xfl0ud 0.84
  • Eternal Fire - Rating past three months: XANTARES 1.29 | imoRR 1.14 | woxic 1.13 | Calyx 1.06 | xfl0ud 1.03

H2H Data:

  • These rosters faced in March at a qualifier for this event and Fnatic won 16-3 in a best-of-one on Mirage. Mezii led the server with 26 kills and a 2.27 Rating.

Prediction/Narrative: Fnatic wins 2-1.

These teams just faced last month and Fnatic whooped Eternal Fire, though it was only for seeding purposes. Still, Mirage is one of Eternal Fire’s better maps, and they were only able to collect three rounds. Mezii was smurfing with 26 kills, 5 deaths, 100% KAST and a 2.27 Rating, and he could be in for another big day in this match-up. I think Fnatic can win here despite their recent drop in form, but the Turkish firepower on Eternal Fire may be enough to at least grab a map.

FaZe (World rank: #1) vs. MOUZ (World rank: #15) - 12:30 P.M. ET

Moneyline Odds: FaZe (-335) | MOUZ (+260)

Map Handicap: FaZe -1.5 (Even) | MOUZ +1.5 (-125)

Map Total: Over 2.5 (+135) | Under 2.5 (-165)

  • MOUZ - Rating past three months: Bymas 1.22 | torzsi 1.13 | frozen 1.12 | JDC  1.05 | dexter 0.95

H2H Data:

  • These rosters have never faced each other. The teams last played in February at the IEM Katowice 2022 Play-in but FaZe was playing with jks as a stand-in for ropz, and MOUZ was playing with JDC as a stand-in for Bymas with NBK- still on the roster. FaZe won that match-up 2-1 (7-16 Nuke / 16-10 Inferno / 16-14 Mirage) and torzsi topped the leaderboards with 69 kills and a 1.29 Rating across three maps.

Prediction/Narrative: FaZe wins 2-1.

FaZe had an unexpected loss against BIG on Monday, but they are still the best team in the world right now and they will be determined to earn their way into the Legends Stage. With that being said, MOUZ have a 6-1 W/L record with this lineup, and they have a higher Team Rating than FaZe at the event at 1.11 across three maps, which makes MOUZ the fourth highest-rated team at the tournament. MOUZ have played FaZe close in the past, and there is history between these teams with ropz and karrigan most recently playing for MOUZ, so I do think that MOUZ can make this a tight series. FaZe’s map pool should be too deep for MOUZ to get past in a best-of-three though, so FaZe are my preferred target here.

Outsiders (World rank: #9) vs. Dignitas (World rank: #37) - 12:30 P.M. ET

Moneyline Odds: Outsiders (-485) | Dignitas (+360)

Map Handicap: Outsiders -1.5 (-135) | Dignitas +1.5 (+115)

Map Total: Over 2.5 (+160) | Under 2.5 (-195)

  • Outsiders - Rating at event: Qikert 1.34 | YEKINDAR  1.15 | buster 1.03 | Jame 1.00 | FL1T 0.88
  • Outsiders - Rating past three months: YEKINDAR 1.16 | Jame 1.15 | FL1T 1.12 | Qikert 1.02 | buster 0.97

  • Dignitas - Rating past three months: HEAP 1.04 | f0rest 1.03 | hallzerk 1.03 | Lekr0 1.03 | friberg 0.91

H2H Data:

  • These rosters have never faced each other. The teams have not faced since June 2020 and both lineups have changed multiple times since.

Prediction/Narrative: Outsiders win 2-0.

Outsiders have had some struggles at this event, yet they are still the eighth highest-rated team at the tournament with a 1.08 Team Rating. On paper this should be an easy match-up for them as a top ten team versus a tier two opponent, but we know that an experienced team like Dignitas is not going to go down without a fight. Dignitas have a decent map pool with Vertigo, Inferno, and Overpass as solid maps for them, but I’d still expect Outsiders to be heavy favorites on Inferno and Overpass at the very least. YEKINDAR leads Outsiders with 32.9% opening duel attempts at this event, and I think he could be in for a monster day against a much weaker opponent. Outsiders should have this series locked up, likely in two maps.
