Evil Geniuses picks Inferno
Evil Geniuses removes Nuke
9z removes Dust2
Overpass is left over
Prediction/Narrative: Evil Geniuses win 2-0.
These teams just played each other and EG completely outclassed 9z. Not only did EG look way better, but they also played on 9z’s most played map, Mirage, in the best-of-one. Evil Geniuses looked locked in when the stakes were high on Inferno against Party Astronauts on Thursday, and I expect them to deliver again with a spot in the Major on the line. 9z are a solid team and I could see them maybe taking a map here, but they have played 27 maps with this lineup and 9 of them were on Mirage, and they only managed to win five rounds last time against EG on that map, so I don’t have much confidence in them here at all. I’m rolling with the North Americans as the favorites on LAN in a high stakes best-of-three. Vegas has EG as the favorites, but Draftkings has 9z as the more expensive team, so this is a clear value spot for Evil Geniuses. Hammer away.
- On Mirage, autimatic leads EG with a 1.28 Rating and 1.38 K/D ratio across three maps played.
- On Inferno, Brehze leads EG with a 1.07 Rating and 1.12 K/D ratio across 11 maps played.
- On Overpass, autimatic leads EG with a 1.30 Rating and 1.28 K/D ratio across three maps played.
- Stewie2K leads EG with 28.9% opening duel attempts, while max leads 9z with 23.9% opening duel attempts.

H2H Data:
- These rosters faced earlier this month in the consolidation final of ESL Challenger League Season 40 Asia-Pacific and TYLOO swept 2-0 (19-15 Inferno / 16-4 Vertigo). Summer led the way with 44 kills and a 1.42 Rating across two maps played.
Map Projections:
IHC removes Ancient
TYLOO removes Nuke
IHC picks Mirage
TYLOO picks Vertigo
TYLOO removes Overpass
IHC removes Dust2
Inferno is left over
Prediction/Narrative: TYLOO wins 2-0.
These teams just faced earlier in the month, and it was a sweep for TYLOO. They also played at the end of March and again TYLOO won, though IHC managed to win on Mirage. TYLOO’s current roster has a 21-5 W/L record across 26 maps played, and their win rate is at least 60% on every map besides their permaban, Nuke. They are the biggest favorite on the slate and I expect them to sweep in this spot. It is possible that IHC could steal a map, especially if sk0R just takes over, though I think part of the reason that IHC won on Mirage the previous time was because they were able to start on CT. It will be difficult for them to capture the early momentum if they pick that map and have to start on T side. IHC have yet to record a win on Vertigo, Overpass and their permaban Ancient with this lineup, and I don’t think that their map pool is deep enough to get past TYLOO in a best-of-three format. Once again, Vegas has TYLOO as a heavy favorite, but Draftkings has IHC as the more expensive team, so this is a super obvious value spot for TYLOO. Hammer away.
- On Mirage, DANK1NG leads TYLOO with a 1.24 Rating and 1.32 K/D ratio across five maps played.
- On Vertigo, DANK1NG leads TYLOO with a 1.56 Rating and 1.97 K/D ratio across five maps played.
- On Inferno, SLOWLY leads TYLOO with a 1.25 Rating, while BnTeT leads with a 1.23 K/D ratio across eight maps played.
- SLOWLY leads TYLOO with 28.7% opening duel attempts, while sk0R leads IHC with 23.2% opening duel attempts.

H2H Data:
- These rosters have never faced each other. The teams last faced in October at IEM Fall 2021 Oceania and Renegades swept (16-14 Overpass / 16-7 Mirage). AliStair led all players with 43 kills and a 1.30 Rating across two maps played.
Map Projections:
Looking For Org removes Mirage
Renegades removes Overpass
Looking For Org picks Nuke
Renegades picks Inferno
Renegades removes Vertigo
Looking For Org removes Ancient
Dust2 is left over
Prediction/Narrative: Renegades win 2-1.
With Liazz in the lineup, Renegades have an 11-4 W/L record across 15 maps played, and they have won seven straight series against Oceanic opponents with an 11-1 W/L record during that time. Meanwhile, LFO have a 5-21 W/L record across 26 maps played in the past three months, though it should be noted that they were playing against international teams such as G2, Ninjas in Pyjamas, Entropiq, and MOUZ. Renegades have owned this match-up historically, and I expect that trend to continue. This Renegades lineup has at least a 50% win rate on every map besides their permaban, Overpass. I do think that LFO are a solid team that are capable of keeping things close against their Oceanic rivals, and I think this could end up being the most competitive series on the slate. Still, Renegades have a huge edge on paper, and I think they will show up with a strong performance given the high stakes.
- On Nuke, INS leads this Renegades lineup with a 1.26 Rating and 1.21 K/D ratio across four maps played.
- On Inferno, INS leads this Renegades lineup with a 1.76 Rating, while Liazz leads with a 2.00 K/D ratio across two maps played.
- On Dust2, INS leads this Renegades lineup with a 1.67 Rating, while Sico leads with a 3.00 K/D ratio across one map played.
- INS leads Renegades with 26.8% opening duel attempts, while ap0c leads LFO with 24.4% opening duel attempts.
