Liquid (World rank: #4) vs. Complexity (World rank: #17) –10:00 A.M. ET
Moneyline Odds: Liquid (-315) | Complexity (+245)
Map Handicap: Liquid -1.5 (+105) | Complexity +1.5 (-125)
This is a best-of-three on LAN for IEM Road to Rio 2022 Americas RMR - Swiss Round 3 (Teams with a 2-0 record). The winning team qualifies for IEM Rio Major 2022 and proceeds to the 1st place decider match to determine the team that receives the Legends/Challengers Stage spot.
Liquid - Rating at event: YEKINDAR 1.44 | EliGE 1.39 | NAF 1.13 | nitr0 1.04 | oSee 1.01
Liquid - Rating past three months: YEKINDAR 1.17 | EliGE 1.12 | NAF 1.10 | oSee 1.05 | nitr0 0.87
Complexity - Rating at event: Grim 1.66 | floppy 1.50 | FaNg 1.29 | JT 1.18 | hallzerk 1.14
Complexity - Rating past three months: Grim 1.25 | floppy 1.08 | FaNg 1.07 | hallzerk 1.06 | JT 0.92
H2H Data:
These teams last faced in August at BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2022 and Liquid won 16-14 in a best-of-one on Vertigo. NAF topped the leaderboards with 25 kills and a 1.33 Rating.
Prediction: Liquid wins 2-0.
Complexity kept things close last time against Liquid, but I expect a cleaner win for Liquid in this high stakes match-up. Liquid got off to a super slow start in the previous meeting between these teams, but in the end nobody on Complexity finished with a K/D of at least one, so the map wasn’t really as competitive as the final score reflects. Complexity have looked good since adding hallzerk and they have a 10-7 W/L record (58.8% win rate) in the past month. However, Liquid have been red hot as well with a 17-10 W/L record (63% win rate) in the past month. Liquid are the better team and they should handle business as they look to lock in a Legends spot at the Major. Maybe Complexity wins some rounds again, but stacking Liquid is the main focus for me on Draftkings.
- YEKINDAR leads Liquid at this event with 0.19 opening duels per round, and he is tied with EliGE with 33.3% opening duel attempts.

Evil Geniuses (World rank: #22) vs. 9z (World rank: #50) –10:00 A.M. ET
Moneyline Odds: Evil Geniuses (-165) | 9z (+135)
Map Handicap: Evil Geniuses -1.5 (+175) | 9z +1.5 (-215)
This is a best-of-three on LAN for IEM Road to Rio 2022 Americas RMR - Swiss Round 3 (Teams with a 2-0 record). The winning team qualifies for IEM Rio Major 2022 and proceeds to the 1st place decider match to determine the team that receives the Legends/Challengers Stage spot.

H2H Data:
These rosters have never faced each other. The teams last faced in April but both lineups have changed since.
Prediction: 9z wins 2-1.
Evil Geniuses earned a win over FURIA on Wednesday and now find themselves 2-0 at this event, but I still don’t think they should be favorites here. 9z have a 7-4 W/L record (63.6% win rate) across 11 maps played with this lineup, and they have two hard-fought overtime wins at this event against respected teams. Sure, EG have a bit of momentum having won six of their last eight maps played, but I see this match-up as a coin flip at best for them. 9z could be in for another tight series here, but ultimately I think they will come out on top. On Draftkings, the cheaper pricing for 9z is my preference, and I would focus on just the studs here as it could be a back-and-forth series and I don't trust the value plays.
- max leads 9z at this event with 0.18 opening kills per round and 37.7% opening duel attempts.

ARCTIC (World rank: #100) vs. Isurus (World rank: #89) - 1:30 P.M. ET
Moneyline Odds: ARCTIC (-135) | Isurus (+110)
Map Handicap: ARCTIC -1.5 (+235) | Isurus +1.5 (-300)
This is a best-of-three on LAN for IEM Road to Rio 2022 Americas RMR - Swiss Round 3 (Teams with a 0-2 record). Losing team is eliminated.

H2H Data:
These teams faced in August at the open qualifier for this event and ARCTIC won 19-15 in a best-of-one on Nuke. NinjaZ led the server with 30 kills, and he tied his teammate history with a 1.31 Rating.
Prediction: ARCTIC wins 2-1.
Of the four teams that went 0-2 on Wednesday, ARCTIC rank first in Team Rating (0.89) and Team K/D ratio (0.84). We just saw these teams play each other in August and it was a very competitive match-up that went to overtime. However, ARCTIC did have a 15-10 lead and they were in control for most of the map, winning a majority of the opening duels. I lean towards ARCTIC to get the job done again on Thursday, but it is difficult to feel great about either of these teams and I do expect this to be another close series. History is a stud with the AWP and he should be the main focus here.
- ponter leads ARCTIC at this event with 0.11 opening kills per round, while history leads with 23.2% opening duel attempts.

TeamOne (World rank: #34) vs. Infinity (World rank: #93) - 1:30 P.M. ET
Moneyline Odds: TeamOne (-2210) | Infinity (+1230)
Map Handicap: TeamOne -1.5 (-390) | Infinity +1.5 (+300)

Infinity - Rating past three months: Pacman 1.12 | tor1towOw 1.10 | k1Nky 1.06 | spamzzy1 1.00 | Marro 0.96
H2H Data:
These teams faced in September at the open qualifier for this event and TeamOne won 16-8 in a best-of-one on Ancient. MalbsMd led the way with 25 kills and a 1.57 Rating.
Prediction: TeamOne wins 2-0.
The oddsmakers are giving TeamOne implied odds of over 95%, which tells you all that you need to know about this match-up. Infinity rank last at this event in terms of Team Rating (0.49) and Team K/D ratio (0.41) and they should get outclassed by TeamOne. I just don’t see a crazy upset happening here with a spot in the Major on the line, especially considering TeamOne are looking to play in their home country as a Brazilian organization. TeamOne is the far superior team and the obvious stack on Draftkings. I recommend prioritizing malbsMd in this one-sided spot, as he is the most aggressive player on TeamOne.
- Maluk3 & iDk lead TeamOne at this event with 0.12 opening kills per round, while malbsMd leads with 35.4% opening duel attempts.
