Vitality (World rank: #1) vs. TYLOO (World rank: #191) - 10:30 A.M. ET

Moneyline Odds: Vitality (-2160) | TYLOO (+1145)

Map Handicap: Vitality -1.5 (-345) | TYLOO +1.5 (+265)

This is an online best-of-three series for the quarter-finals of BLAST Premier Fall Showdown 2022 Europe

Vitality - Rating at event: N/A

Vitality - Rating past three months: ZywOo 1.37 | Spinx 1.09 | Magisk 1.08 | dupreeh 0.97 | apEX 0.94

TYLOO - Rating at event: N/A

TYLOO - Rating past three months: DANK1NG 1.26 | SLOWLY 1.23 | freeman 1.16 | Summer 1.02 | aristo 1.02

H2H Data:

These rosters have never faced each other. The teams played in July with different rosters and Vitality won 16-9 in best-of-one on Overpass, including a 14-1 CT half. ApEX & ZywOo led the way with 21 kills each, while apEX led with a 1.39 Rating.

Prediction: Vitality wins 2-0.

Vitality are currently the number one ranked team in the world after their win at ESL Pro League Season 16, and they are a massive favorite in this spot. Vitality have a 27-14 W/L record across 41 maps played since adding Spinx, and I can’t imagine them starting to slip against a team like TYLOO. We haven’t seen this particular TYLOO lineup play together yet, though there are some familiar names on the server from the last time Vitality played them (DANK1NG, SLOWLY, and SUmmer). TYLOO are a bit of an unknown quantity now, but Vitality stomped them last time with a 14-1 CT half, and I expect a similar showing on Wednesday. ApEX was the highest-rated player last time against TYLOO and he tends to play super aggressive against weaker opponents so I think he could be a great value play. ZywOo is also on pace to potentially be the number one player in the world for 2022, and he should continue to be a strong option.

  • .In the past three months, ZywOo leads Vitality with a 1.52 K/D ratio.
  • ZywOo leads Vitality with 0.14 opening kills per round and 21.8% opening duel attempts during that time.

Favorite Draftkings Plays (In order of priority):

ZywOo ($10,200) | apEX ($6,400) | Magisk ($8,400) | Spinx ($9,400) | dupreeh ($7,600) | DANK1NG ($7,000)

Astralis (World rank: #16) vs. Eternal Fire (World rank: #19) - 1:30 P.M. ET

Moneyline Odds: Astralis (-145) | Eternal Fire (+120)

Map Handicap: Astralis -1.5 (+180) | Eternal Fire +1.5 (-225)

This is an online best-of-three series for the quarter-finals of BLAST Premier Fall Showdown 2022 Europe

Astralis - Rating at event: N/A

Astralis - Rating past three months: blameF 1.17 | Farlig 1.02 | gla1ve 0.98 | Xyp9x 0.96 | MistR 0.95

Eternal Fire - Rating at event: N/A

Eternal Fire - Rating past three months: XANTARES 1.28 | woxic 1.17 | imoRR 1.05 | paz 0.98 | xfl0ud 0.92

H2H Data:

These rosters have never faced each other. The teams played earlier this month, prior to Eternal Fire adding back xfl0ud, and Astralis won 16-9 in a best-of-one on Inferno. BlameF led the server with 23 kills and a 1.36 Rating.

Prediction: Astralis wins 2-0.

Astralis have a mere 1-4 W/L record since cutting ties with k0nfig, though their only win was against Eternal Fire. Since then, Eternal Fire have benched MAJ3R and added xfl0ud back. MAJ3R performed well against Astralis with 18 kills and a 1.04 Rating, while xfl0ud has struggled with a 0.92 Rating and 0.54 kills per round in the past three months, so I would argue that Eternal Fire have gotten worse since these teams met just a couple of weeks ago. K0nfig is a talented player but he was inconsistent and I think Astralis can improve from here. Astralis have already played close maps against Ninjas in Pyjamas and forZe with MistR in the lineup, and I think it is only a matter of time before they start getting more wins. Eternal Fire have talented aimers and they are capable of competing with nearly any team, but I think Astralis is better at the moment, and we could easily see a repeat of what happened when these team faced at IEM Road to Rio 2022 Europe RMR A. I’m choosing to trust Astralis here, but XANTARES is always difficult to ignore with a 1.28 Rating and 0.81 kills per round in the past three months.

  • blameF leads this Astralis lineup with a 1.04 K/D ratio across four maps played.
  • blameF leads with 0.17 opening kills per round and 27.3% opening duel attempts during that time.

Favorite Draftkings Plays (In order of priority):

Complexity (World rank: #18) vs. Sharks (World rank: #167) - 3:30 P.M. ET

Moneyline Odds: Complexity (-835) | Sharks (+560)

Map Handicap: Complexity -1.5 (-195) | Sharks +1.5 (+160)

This is an online best-of-three series for the quarter-finals of BLAST Premier Fall Showdown 2022 North America

Complexity - Rating at event: N/A

Complexity - Rating past three months: Grim 1.19 | floppy 1.10 | hallzerk 1.07 | FaNg 1.04 | JT 0.91

Sharks - Rating at event: N/A

Sharks - Rating past three months: n1ssim 1.11 | chay 1.06 | jnt 1.01 | togs 1.01 | drg 0.92

H2H Data:

These rosters have never faced each other.

Prediction: Complexity wins 2-1.

Complexity have a 21-18 W/L record across 39 maps played since adding hallzerk. They failed to qualify for the upcoming Rio Major, but they have put up some strong performances along the way. Still, I’m not sure that they should be such heavy favorites in this spot against Sharks. Sharks have a 9-8 W/L record across 17 maps played with their lineup, and they have already beaten some decent opponents such as Isurus and FURIA Academy. This is a step up in competition for Sharks, but I think they have shown that they have enough talent to at least hang around with Complexity. Sharks have a 4-3 W/L record on Dust2, a 2-1 W/L record on Nuke, and a 1-0 W/L record on Ancient, and it would not surprise me to see them take a map despite the lopsided odds. Complexity should be the clear favorite, but Sharks are super cheap on Draftkings and might be worth considering punting on with $5K up top. Jnt is only $4,400 as the main AWPer, while n1ssim and chay are the typical carries of this team. Complexity would still be my preference, but Sharks are an interesting option.

  • In the past three months, Grim leads Complexity with a 1.16 K.D ratio.
  • hallzerk & Grim lead with 0.11 opening kills per round, while JT leads with 23.9% opening duel attempts during that time.

Favorite Draftkings Plays (In order of priority):

hallzerk ($7,800) | Grim ($9,800) | FaNg ($7,200) | floppy ($8,800) | jnt ($4,400) | JT ($6,200) | n1ssim ($6,800) | chay ($5,800)
