H2H Data:
These rosters have never faced each other.
Prediction: Sprout wins 2-0.
Sprout are one of the best tier two teams in the world and I fully expect them to clean up against this level of competition. Sprout have a 31-20 W/L record across 51 maps played with this lineup, and they have posted some impressive results, including a 3rd place finish at IEM Road to Rio 2022 Europe RMR A, which earned them a spot in the Legends Stage at the upcoming IEM Rio Major 2022. Sprout have a winning record on every map in the pool besides Nuke, but BLUEJAYS permaban Nuke, which is to the benefit of Sprout in this case. BLUEJAYS have some strong maps in the past three months including Mirage (12-5 W/L), Inferno (11-8 W/L), Dust2 (6-4 W/L), and Overpass (5-1 W/L) and there is a case for them to maybe win a map and keep things close here. However, Sprout just beat K23 16-2 on Mirage, they have won three of their last four on Inferno, they have won five in a row on Vertigo, and they have won three of their last four with an overtime loss to FaZe on Ancient, so Sprout should have a deep enough map pool to handle BLUEJAYS either way. Three maps are a possibility, but Sprout are the better team and they should win here. A three stack of Sprout players would be my preference, though CacaNito is always on my radar for DFS as an aggressive player with fairly consistent results.
- slaxz- leads Sprout at this event with 0.13 opening kills per round and 24.2% opening duel attempts across six maps played.

Bad News Eagles (World rank: #24) vs. 9INE (World rank: #113) - 1:30 P.M. ET

Prediction: Bad News Eagles win 2-1.
9INE have only played 22 maps together with an 8-14 W/L record and they only qualified for the playoffs at this event because forZe withdrew. However, I don’t think we can completely write off this team. Despite their losing record, 9INE have managed some solid wins against Eternal Fire, EC Kyiv, and OG Academy, plus they managed to take a map against forZe. These Polish players also have chemistry together from the past despite this lineup being relatively new. With that being said, Bad News Eagles should be the clear favorite and the odds reflect that. BNE have been together much longer than 9INE with a 148-90 W/L record across 238 maps played with this lineup. In the past three months, Bad News Eagles have a 24-12 W/L record across 36 maps played, so they have been in good form as of late. Still, I don’t think the difference in talent between these teams is drastic, and I think this series will be closer than the first one on the slate. 9INE have a capable lineup and they will be looking to capitalize on this second opportunity into the playoffs. The map pool should favor Bad News Eagles, but I wouldn’t be surprised if 9INE stole a map here and made this a sweat for BNE. Bad News Eagles are the obvious team to stack on Draftkings as they are the biggest favorite on the slate, but I don’t mind the idea of mixing in some 9INE exposure, especially KEi, who has been the clear hard carry in this Polish lineup.
- juanflatroo leads BNE at this event with 0.15 opening kills per round and 24.5% opening duel attempts across four maps played.
