These rosters have never faced each other. The teams faced earlier this month, though KOVA were playing without Sm1llee at that time. JANO won that series 2-0 (16-14 Nuke / 16-11 Mirage) and ZOREE led the server with 55 kills, while allu led with a 1.48 Rating across two maps played.
Prediction/Narrative: KOVA wins 2-1.
We don't have much data on these teams as JANO just signed with an organization and added ottob and sLowi at the start of August, meanwhile KOVA just added ottoNd & Sm1llee recently as well. These two Finnish teams are hungry to prove themselves, and we know that anything can happen when 10 players from the same region share a server. Yes, JANO did just sweep KOVA last Saturday, but KOVA did not have their full roster, plus it was a tight series anyway with Nuke going 30 rounds and Mirage going 27 rounds. I just don't think that there is much that separates these teams, and I generally lean towards the underdog when teams from the same region face each other, so I do like KOVA in this spot. JANO have played seven maps with this lineup, and they've gotten some dud performances from their supportive players. Ottob has a 0.67 Rating and 0.54 K/D ratio so far, while arvid has not been all that much better with a 0.90 Rating and 0.84 K/D ratio. I just feel like I cannot trust JANO as the favorite, especially considering allu has been inconsistent his entire career and he is the most expensive player on the slate. I'll take KOVA in a close one.

Prediction/Narrative: EYEBALLERS win 2-0.
This EYEBALLERS lineup previously played under the name Hellslayers, and they have been solid with a 32-24 W/L record across 56 maps played total. As for Sashi, we've never seen them play a single map with this lineup, and the core of their team has only played a handful of maps together. We don't have much data on Sashi at this point, but they have banned Dust2 in the past, which would be ideal for EYEBALLERS as Inferno would be left open for their potential map pick. EYEBALLERS have a 13-2 W/L record across 15 maps played on Inferno with this roster, though they have also shown a willingness to pick Ancient as well. I'm less confident in EYEBALLERS' ability on Ancient, but it is their most played map in the past three months with a 4-4 W/L record, while Sashi's core are 0-2 on it in their short match history. EYEBALLERS have recorded respectable wins on other maps as well, like Mirage, where they beat Apeks 16-9 back in May. I feel pretty decent about EYEBALLERS' in a best-of-three format given the depth of their map pool, and I have no confidence in Sashi at this point as we don't know what to expect from them. All things considered, EYEBALLERS should be able to get the job done here based on their experience, especially if Inferno is in the map pool.
