Akron- 17.75
QUARTERBACKS
Kaleb Eleby (Western Michigan) $7.5K Opp AKR ($7.5K)
Eleby threw for 276 yards and a touchdown last week against Central Michigan. He’s struggled a bit with no touchdowns thrown in two of his last four games played but finds himself in a nice “get right” game against Akron. The Zips are allowing 226.4 yards per game in the air and 8.8 yards per attempt while Eleby and Western Michigan have by far the highest implied score of the night (43.75 points).
Ben Bryant (Eastern Michigan) $6.8K Opp OHIO ($6.8K)
The Eagles are off to their best start since 1989 thanks to Cincinnati transfer Bryant who has thrown for 2,190 yards and 13 touchdowns (five interceptions). He’s even been at his best over the last two games beating Bowling Green 55-24 (20/26 for 286 yards and two touchdowns) and Toledo 52-49 (29/41 for 354 yards and three touchdowns). The Eagles live and die by the arm of Bryant who now has thrown 13 touchdowns and is averaging 243 yards per game and expect the same type of numbers against a horrible Ohio pass defense that is allowing 235.8 yards per game.
Also Consider:
Brett Gabbert (Miami-OH) $7.7K Cash/GPP
Zach Gibson (Akron) $5.0K GPP Dart
RUNNING BACKS
Sean Tyler (Western Michigan) Opp AKR ($6.3K)
Tyler and La’Darius Jefferson make up a strong running duo and both are in play tonight against an Akron defense that is ranked dead last in the MAC giving up 220 yards on the ground (ranked 120/130) and 5.8 yards per attempt. Tyler and Jefferson have combined for 1,271 rushing yards and 16 touchdowns while Tyler has now scored in three straight games and is coming off a 15 carry 59-yard two touchdown game against Central Michigan.
Dylan McDuffie (Buffalo) Opp @MIAOH ($6.9K)
Even with Jarrett Patterson gone the Bulls still rely on a prolific offense and a running back. Now it’s Dylan McDuffie who is third in the MAC with 766 rushing yards on a 5.5 yards per carry average and nine touchdowns. He’s ran up 507 rushing yards with five scores in the last four games and we saw what the Ohio runners did to the RedHawks last week- lock in McDuffie in all formats. Note: Check the status of RB Kevin Marks- if he is out upgrade McDuffie
O’Shaan Allison (Ohio) Opp @EMU ($3.9K)
De’Montre Tuggle is no doubt the lead runner for Ohio, but Allison is the main receiving back and has a solid floor due to his ability to catch passes out of the backfield. $3,900 is a nice value for a runner that has 12 receptions on 13 targets and 68 yards over the last two games facing a defense that is allowing 237 yards passing per game.
Also Consider:
La’Darius Jefferson (WMU) $5.2K Cash/GPP
De’Montre Tuggle (Ohio) $7.0K GPP
Jonzell Norrils (Akron) $5.7K Cash/GPP
Darius Boone Jr (EMU) $4.3K Value
WIDE RECIEVERS
Jack Sorenson (Miami-OH) Opp BUFF ($9.0K)
Sorenson is coming off a monster game last week where he had 14 receptions for 283 yards and two touchdowns (57.3 DK points) against Ohio. He now has four straight 100 yard receiving games with 34 catches and three touchdowns in that span and at least 22 DK points in every MAC game this season.
Skyy Moore (Western Michigan) Opp AKR ($8.3K)
Leads the MAC with 65 catches and is second with 823 yards and five scores. The alpha has eight catches in each of the last three games with two of those games going over 100 yards (128 and 140) and two touchdowns in the same span. Moore isn’t going to come cheap ($8,300) especially with Jack Sorenson in the same upper tier and on fire but is in play in all formats.
Jaylen Hall (Western Michigan) Opp AKR ($5.1K)
If you don’t spend up on Moore, Hall is right there at $5,100 and makes for a fine cash play. He has 31 total targets with five receptions and at least 12 yards per catch in each of the last four games. With Akron’s defense allowing over 226 yards in the air per game and 2+ touchdowns Hall should have plenty of chances giving him a high floor tonight.
Tanner Knue (Eastern Michigan) Opp OHIO ($4.8K)
Hassan Beydoun is a great play for EMU but he’s in a weird salary range of $7,400 and well deserved after a 12 catch 197-yard two touchdown game last week against Toledo. Enter Knue, who returned from injury and immediately was involved with six catches for 55 yards and a touchdown. With a $2,600 difference between the two receivers, it’s worth a shot with Knue in cash and GPPs especially with quarterback Bryant playing elite football and a horrible Ohio pass defense that is allowing 235.8 yards per game coming to town.
Also Consider:
Hassan Beydoun (EMU) $7.4K Cash/GPP
Quian Williams (Buffalo) $6.3K GPP
Dylan Drummond (EMU) $5.5K Cash/GPP
Mac Hippenhammer (Miami-OH) $4.9K Value GPP
Corey Crums (WMU) $4.7K Value Cash/GPP
Isiah Cox (Ohio) $4.9K GPP
Jalen Walker (Miami-OH) $3.3K Punt
