It’s time to dive into another DFS CFB slate on a Friday night! It’s only a two-gamer for both FanDuel and DraftKings, but we at least have a top-tier Cincinnati squad and an entertaining Mountain West matchup on tap. If you have any questions on specific players or lineup builds, feel free to hit me up on Twitter @dan_servodidio or on the DFS Alarm CFB Discord before kickoff! Without further ado, let’s dive into the DFS CFB slate for Friday, November 12th!

QUARTERBACKS
| Quarterbacks | |||||||
| Player | Team | Opp. | DK $ | DK FPPG | FD $ | FD FPPG | |
| Desmond Ridder | CINCY | USF | 8500 | 22.8 | 12000 | 23.23 | |
| On a two-game slate like tonight, it’s gonna be hard to avoid Ridder in cash or GPP. He has by far the safest floor/ceiling combo among all four QBs in action and should give you 20-30 DFS points with the possibility for more due to the rushing upside. Don’t overthink locking Ridder in cash - especially since Cincy still has plenty to prove offensively after winning some close ones lately. | |||||||
| Hank Bachmeier | BSU | WYO | 6800 | 17.99 | 9400 | 17.21 | |
| If you’re fading Ridder because of the blowout risk or any other reason, then Bachmeier is the contrarian pivot. It’s not entirely safe for cash because he’s facing a Wyoming pass defense that’s one of the country’s best and allowing only 155.7 pass yards per game. Still, the upside is there for Bachmeier to toss multiple TDs - like he’s done five times this year - even if he isn’t racking up the yardage. Due to the tough matchup, he’s better suited for GPPs. | |||||||
| Levi Williams | WYO | BSU | 6200 | 13.06 | 8000 | 12.31 | |
| If you’re going with a second QB in the Super-Flex, it’s either Williams or USF’s Timmy McClain. Since the latter has to face the always-tough Cincy defense, Williams gets the edge for me. For starters, his rushing upside is legit after he just ran for 116 yards and a TD last week. The passing leaves much to be desired, but he’ll likely be throwing more with Wyoming trailing late. The rushing, though, gives him a safer floor than McClain. | |||||||
Also Consider:
Timmy McClain -- South Florida ($5,700 DK / $6,500 FD)
RUNNING BACKS
| Running Backs | |||||||
| Player | Team | Opp. | DK $ | DK FPPG | FD $ | FD FPPG | |
| Jerome Ford | CINCY | USF | 8300 | 25.26 | 11000 | 22.43 | |
| If he’s playing, then Ford should be locked into cash lineups just like Desmond Ridder. He’s the clear-cut best RB in action and has the best floor/ceiling combo of any rusher on the short slate. The only problem is the injury he suffered last week that kept him out of the end of the fourth quarter. We’ll have to check warm-ups to be sure, but we should expect Ford to play tonight. If he’s not, then Ryan Montgomery is the likely next man up and would be a massive value on DK. | |||||||
| Xazavian Valladay | WYO | BSU | 7000 | 17.14 | 9000 | 15.01 | |
| It gets a bit risky after Jerome Ford, but Valladay has the next-closest DFS ceiling among the remaining RBs tonight. He’s only two weeks removed from a 172-yard rushing performance and is involved plenty as a pass-catcher. Though backup Titus Swen had a breakout game last week, Valladay is still the lead back in a run-heavy offense and he could be leaned on tonight to keep it close against a below-average Boise rush defense. | |||||||
| George Holani | BSU | WYO | 4500 | 9.05 | 7800 | 7.79 | |
| Though the Boise backfield is a three-headed attack at times, Holani has been used the most when healthy this season. Last week, he broke off 186 total yards on 23 touches for his first big stat line of the year. In that game, he out-touched and out-gained both Habibi-Likio and Van Buren by notable margins as Boise St played with a lead. That could be the case again as two-score favorites over Wyoming. | |||||||
Also Consider:
Jaren Mangham -- South Florida ($6,500 DK / $6,800 FD)
Titus Swen -- Wyoming ($4,900 DK / $6,500 FD)
Cyrus Habibi-Likio -- Boise State ($4,800 DK / $7,500 FD)
Ryan Montgomery -- Cincinnati ($3,000 DK / $8,500 FD)
WIDE RECEIVERS
| Wide Receivers | |||||||
| Player | Team | Opp. | DK $ | DK FPPG | FD $ | FD FPPG | |
| Khalil Shakir | BSU | WYO | 7400 | 20.82 | 10000 | 16.71 | |
| There aren’t many proven receivers on this slate for DFS purposes, but Shakir is miles ahead of anyone in terms of pure talent and fantasy production. He’s involved plenty as the Boise offense’s top playmaker and the coaching staff tries to get the ball in his hands as much as possible. Case in point: Shakir has 24 total touches over the past two games combined. Even though the Wyoming pass defense is tough, it’s hard to match the floor/ceiling combo of Shakir at WR tonight. | |||||||
| Alec Pierce | CINCY | USF | 6500 | 13.81 | 8700 | 12.1 | |
| The Cincy pass-catchers can’t be trusted for cash with how spread out the receiving production and TDs are game-to-game. In GPPs, though, Pierce is worth a shot because he could easily finish with more DFS points than Khalil Shakir. The floor is decent enough with Pierce, but the chance at 100+ yards and a TD or two is real - just like he did a week ago. | |||||||
| Xavier Weaver | USF | CINCY | 5400 | 13.74 | 6800 | 11.23 | |
| If there’s one thing we know about this slate, it’s that USF will be trailing early and often against Cincinnati and the offense will be forced to throw to keep up. Thus, the only Bulls we should be rostering in cash are the pass-catchers. Weaver is the #1 receiver and he could actually provide a decent floor with how many targets he normally sees. Over the last two games, he’s totaled 11 catches for 196 yards and has returned to form after dealing with a recent injury. | |||||||
| Josh Whyle | CINCY | USF | 5000 | 8.4 | 6100 | 7.27 | |
| Admittedly, Whyle’s weekly DFS floor is ugly with the real possibility he only records one catch. However, the Cincy tight end also has proven slate-breaking upside like when he caught four TDs across two games combined not too long ago. Still, it’s boom-or-bust with Whyle and the price tag is too high for cash. Fire away in tournaments! | |||||||
| Player | Team | Opp. | DK $ | DK FPPG | FD $ | FD FPPG | |
| Octavius Evans | BSU | WYO | 4600 | 10.1 | 6200 | 8.21 | |
| Stefan Cobbs is also in play from the Boise receiving corps, but his recent shoulder injury makes it tough to trust in cash. Instead, Evans is a nice value with a similar floor to Cobbs but notably cheaper to roster. He’s also been more involved lately and is only two weeks removed from scoring twice and putting up 21 DK points. The value WR options are tough to find tonight, but Evans is a nice salary-saver. | |||||||
| Jimmy Horn Jr. | USF | CINCY | 4100 | 4.89 | 4600 | 3.38 | |
| With USF trailing, one of these cheap receivers could easily return value for cash or GPP just because the offense will be throwing a ton late. The matchup vs. Cincy is obviously not a good one, but volume will likely be there. Horn has been up-and-down all year but he’s only a few weeks removed from having seven catches and he had five grabs for 102 yards in a similar game flow situation vs. SMU earlier this year. We have to find value somewhere and Horn is better than most in this price range. | |||||||

Isaiah Neyor -- Wyoming ($6,000 DK / $8,400 FD)
Michael Young Jr. -- Cincinnati ($3,900 DK / $6,000 FD)
Tyler Scott -- Cincinnati ($3,700 DK / $7,000 FD)
Omarion Dollison -- South Florida ($3,600 DK / $5,500 FD)
