#MACtion is in full swing with another MAC-only DFS CFB slate tonight! Though it’s a short and sweet two-game, we have a pair of high-scoring matchups and plenty of DFS production all around. This playbook will only focus on the DraftKings slate in terms of pricing, but feel free to play on FanDuel with the same players as well.

If you have any questions on specific players or lineup builds, feel free to hit me up on Twitter @dan_servodidio or on the DFS Alarm CFB Discord before kickoff! Without further ado, let’s dive into the DFS CFB slate for Wednesday, November 3rd!

QUARTERBACKS

Dustin CrumKENTNIU790022.95
Though Crum probably shouldn’t be notably more expensive than the other QBs on this slate, he’ll end up being popular in all formats because there are only two games tonight. Over the last four games (all vs. MAC competition), Crum has at least one rush TD every week with a 6:0 TD:INT ratio. He also boasts a proven floor of 20 DFS points because of his dual-threat ability, and a high upside of 50 DFS points like he did three weeks ago with five total TDs. The matchup vs. NIU is about middle-of-the-pack, but this game’s high total should keep Crum busy both through the air and on the ground.
Rocky LombardiNIUKENT690019.39
Even though he’s in a run-first offense, Lombardi is firmly in play on this short slate because he’s facing a weak Kent State defense that’s allowing 270 pass yards per game this season (112th in FBS). The NIU passing attack took advantage of a similarly poor CMU pass D last game when Lombardi tossed three TDs and 320 yards for 32 DFS points. In a high-total matchup that should go back-and-forth offensively, the GPP upside is there for Lombardi to be the slate’s best QB tonight.
Kaleb ElebyWMUCMU650018.76
It’s probably either Eleby or CMU’s Richardson for your Super-Flex, if you’re playing two QBs. Eleby gets the slight nod because he’s facing a weaker pass defense with Central Michigan allowing 275 passing yards per game. Eleby has thrown for multiple TDs in four of the last six games and has a rush TD in three straight coming into this week. He’s a bit boom-or-bust, but should give you 20 DFS points in a favorable matchup.

Also Consider:

  • Daniel Richardson -- Central Michigan ($5,600) -- GPP

RUNNING BACKS

Lew Nichols IIICMUWMU830025.19
Despite being in the worst matchup on the slate, Nichols is by far the best RB on this slate and has a proven track record of being a workhorse in the CMU offense. He has 28+ total touches, 173 total yards and 32+ DFS points in four of the last five games. That type of production is almost impossible to fade on a short slate like this one - especially at a RB position that lacks studs outside of Nichols. In cash, lock in Nichols and don’t think twice.
Marquez CooperKENTNIU570013.39
Unfortunately the Kent State RBs are hard to trust for fantasy with multiple guys getting carries and Crum stealing production away. Stil, Cooper is the best play in the backfield with four TDs over the past three games and just a few weeks removed from back-to-back 100-yard performances. He’ll face an NIU rush defense that’s been slightly better since MAC play began - allowing 130 rushing yards per game - but it’s also allowed 20 rush TDs over eight games this season. Cooper could easily find the end zone once or twice in a high-scoring, back-and-forth environment tonight - but he’s better suited for GPP’s on this slate.
Jay DuckerNIUKENT52008.97
With Harrison Waylee out the last few weeks, Ducker has stepped into NIU’s lead back role and put up some monster numbers. He’s seen 30+ carries in each of the last two games and totaled 210 and 183 rushing yards in those contests. Expect Ducker to stay busy on the ground for a third straight game as he’s listed as the starter on this week’s depth chart in a run-heavy offense - especially with Waylee likely out again. He’ll face a Kent State rush defense that’s one of the worst in the country - allowing a slate-high 204 rushing yards per game, 5.3 ypc and 21 rush TDs over eight games. Ducker should be popular in cash on a slate without many trustworthy values.
La'Darius JeffersonWMUCMU460014.41
The WMU backfield is a pretty even split between Sean Tyler and Jefferson, so the latter is the better DFS option because he’s cheaper. Honestly, Jefferson should probably be more expensive than Tyler and this is a nice bargain at sub-5k. Besides the last game, Jefferson has found the end zone in every other contest this season and now has nine total TDs compared to Tyler’s four. For some more comparisons, Jefferson’s 525 yards on 133 carries is similar to Tyler’s 631 yards on 106 carries. The two are very similar and Jefferson is simply the better value if he’s cheaper.

Also Consider:

  • Sean Tyler -- Western Michigan ($5,500) -- GPP
  • Xavier Williams -- Kent State ($4,100) -- GPP
  • Clint Ratkovich -- Northern Illinois ($3,700) -- GPP

WIDE RECEIVERS

Skyy MooreWMUCMU750024.76
Since returning from a one-game absence in Week 2, Moore has statistically been one of the best WRs in the country and should have no issues continuing that tonight. He has at least seven catches and 81 receiving yards in six straight games but is usually doing a lot more. As mentioned with Eleby above, Moore will be facing a poor CMU pass defense and should put up big numbers per usual. He’s a near-lock in cash on slate without many top-tier WRs.
Dante CephasKENTNIU720020.41
People may overlook Cephas because of Skyy Moore’s presence on the slate, but the Kent State No. 1 receiver could easily be the slate’s highest-scoring pass-catcher. He has at least five catches, 96 yards and a TD in four of the last five games and provides a very safe floor as the team’s top offensive weapon. He should have no problem putting up big numbers against a soft NIU pass defense. You can fit both Cephas and Moore in the same cash lineup if you want.
Kalil PimpletonCMUWMU640016.88
The CMU receiving corps is basically a two-headed monster with Pimpleton and JaCorey Sullivan making up one of the best pass-catching tandems in the country. Sullivan is definitely in play as he successfully returned from an injury last game and put up solid numbers. Pimpleton, though, is the team’s best playmaker as the offense looks to get the ball in his hands as much as possible - both as a receiver and ball carrier. He has at least 21 DFS points in four of the last five games and will likely do the same tonight.
Jaylen HallWMUCMU540014.41
Though Moore is the headliner in the WMU receiving corps, Hall can provide a solid DFS floor for $2000 less. He has five receptions in three straight games and double-digit DFS points in five of the last six games. It may not seem like a lot, but there aren’t a ton of WRs on this slate that can offer that type of consistency to trust in cash.
PlayerTeamOpp.DK $DK FPPGFD $FD FPPG
Tyrice RichieNIUKENT510012.25
It’s either Richie or Tayvon Rudolph as the best options from NIU’s receiving corps if you want to target that side of the matchup vs. Kent State. Rudolph is more boom-or-bust this season, but Richie offers a safer floor. He has eight catches and 95+ yards in two of the last three games and at least five receptions in four of the last five. He’s a great floor play in the 5k range if you need cheaper WRs - especially against a poor Kent pass defense.
Nykeim JohnsonKENTNIU470011.61
There aren’t many sub-5k players to trust on this slate, but Johnson could end up being popular in cash. He’s coming off a good performance - eight catches for 86 yards - and offers a decent enough floor of receptions and yardage to return double-digit DFS points. Plus, he’s even involved as a ball-carrier at times for some added value. Outside of Cephas, it’s Johnson who’s the clear No. 2 target for QB Dustin Crum in the Kent offense.
Dallas DixonCMUWMU420016.81
While Pimpleton and Sullivan are the headliners in the CMU receiving corps, Dixon is an interesting cheap flier on this slate. He was definitely more productive when Sullivan was out with an injury, but he’s built a clear rapport with QB Daniel Richardson this season and proved capable of posting 100+ receiving yards in multiple games. It’s a bit of a GPP dart throw because he’s a clear fourth or fifth option offensively for CMU.

Also Consider:

  • JaCorey Sullivan -- Central Michigan ($6,100) -- Cash/GPP
  • Trayvon Rudolph -- Northern Illinois ($5,900) -- GPP
  • Keshunn Abram -- Kent State ($4,000) -- Cash
  • Corey Crooms -- Western Michigan ($4,300) -- GPP
