QUARTERBACKS

Quarterbacks
PlayerTeamOpp.DK $DK FPPGFD $FD FPPG
Sam HartmanWAKEUNC1000032.23
Hartman has slowly but surely shot up the QB pricing tiers because he’s playing like a legit Heisman candidate lately. He’s put up nearly 100 total DFS points over the past two games combined and has 34+ DFS points in four straight. This Wake Forest offense is one of the best in the country and the shaky UNC defense won’t do much to slow Hartman and Co. down. Plus, Hartman’s floor has been better than imagined because he’s scored on the ground in four straight games. The price tag is hefty and puts him in GPP territory, but he’s been worth it for much of this season.
Sam HowellUNCWAKE980034.65
Many of us will likely have to choose between Hartman and Howell for the QB1 spot in cash. This UNC-Wake game will feature plenty of offense on both sides and it begins and ends with the gunslingers on both sides. Howell, like Hartman, brings some rushing upside and his recent ground production means you’re basically rostering an RB1 in addition to what he does through the air. He’s rushed for at least 98 yards in three straight and that provides a very nice floor for cash. You can’t go wrong with either Howell or Hartman in cash, but the better rushing makes the UNC QB slightly safer.
Malik WillisLIBMISS930032.48
If we know one thing, it’s that Malik Willis won’t shy away from facing an SEC defense this week and he could easily end up being the slate’s highest-scoring QB. The Ole Miss D has been very forgiving both through the air and on the ground and Willis should do his thing as one of the best dual-threats in the country. He’s already shown the rushing upside to post 150 yards and multiple scores on the ground and we could easily see that type of stat line this week. He’ll likely go lower-rostered than both Hartman and Howell, so he’s the better GPP play.
C.J. StroudOSUNEB860027.51
In a perfect world, you roster either Howell/Hartman as your QB1 in cash and force Stroud in the Super-Flex. Though Stroud is coming off a slightly down performance vs. Penn State, expect him to bounce back big against a below-average Nebraska defense here. The Ohio St QB has shown the upside to throw for 4-5 TDs in a game and return 30-40 DFS points with the offense now rolling on all cylinders. He’s definitely low risk compared to other QBs in the 8k range on this slate and is perfectly fine for cash.
Adrian MartinezNEBOSU700027.58
If you’ve played CFB DFS before, you know what you’re getting in Adrian Martinez. His dual-threat ability is good enough to provide a safe floor for cash and he has GPP upside if he can find success through the air. Last week’s performance is a good example of the good and bad you get with Martinez when he threw four picks vs. Purdue but still provided 22 DFS points in the end. The Ohio State defense has actually been below-average against the pass and A-Mart could do enough both through the air and on the ground to return value. Most people will either go him or Spencer Sanders as a cash Super-Flex for the savings.
Sean CliffordPSUUMD600019.69
It’s been an up-and-down season for Clifford both in real life and for DFS, but this price seems a bit too cheap. It’s actually a season-low price point for a guy who’ll be facing a struggling Maryland defense that’s allowing a ton of production both through the air and on the ground. It seems like Clifford is now close to full strength after previously dealing with an injury and he has the upside to post 20-30 DFS points in a favorable matchup.

Also Consider:

  • Matt Corral -- Ole Miss ($9,600) -- GPP
  • Tanner Mordecai -- SMU ($9,000) -- Cash/GPP
  • Desmond Ridder -- Cincinnati ($8,700) -- GPP
  • Gerry Bohanon -- Baylor ($7,700) -- GPP
  • Spencer Sanders -- Oklahoma State ($7,100) -- Cash

RUNNING BACKS

Running Backs
PlayerTeamOpp.DK $DK FPPGFD $FD FPPG
Kenneth Walker IIIMSUPUR860029.5
Walker proved last week vs. Michigan that he’s basically matchup-proof when he smashed the slate for 56 DFS points thanks to his five TDs. He’s now vaulted into the Heisman conversation with multiple big rushing performances this season and is the clear bell-cow and go-to guy in the Michigan State offense. Even though he’ll face a tough Purdue defense this time around, Walker will see plenty of volume and red zone work to return value. He may go overlooked in cash, but last week showed us to fade at our own risk - especially in GPPs.
TreVeyon HendersonOSUNEB790026.25
Ohio State’s freshman has now taken over lead back duties and is showing no signs of letting that role go. He’s coming off a massive performance vs. Penn State with his 152 rushing yards and 26 DFS points on 28 carries. Henderson has now scored in seven straight games and has 15 TDs during this span. Though Nebraska’s rush defense is tougher than most on this slate, Henderson should see enough volume and red-zone work to return value for cash.
Abram SmithBAYTCU730023
Smith is coming off two great performances vs. BYU and Texas when he ran for 100+ yards, found the end zone at least once and saw 20+ touches in both outings. Now he gets to face a poor TCU rush defense? Sign me up for cash yet again at a very affordable price compared to other lead RBs on this slate. Smith deserves to be popular in cash as one of the better per-dollar values for the favorable matchup.
Zamir WhiteUGAMIZZ710014.04
Lead RBs have been smashing all year against this terrible Missouri rush defense and Zamir White should be the latest to do so. The issue with rostering White in DFS is sometimes he doesn’t produce stat-wise before Georgia blows out the opponent and the backup RBs replace him. Lately, though, he’s scored in six straight games and has eight TDs in this span - in addition to double-digit carries in four straight. We could see White go for 100+ and multiple scores before he’s benched, but there’s definitely blowout risk for cash.
Ty ChandlerUNCWAKE660019.61
Considering all the RB talent in action on this slate, Chandler could go overlooked - especially with people flocking to Sam Howell and Josh Downs as their UNC exposure. However, Chandler is facing a bad Wake rush defense and could easily smash value in a high-scoring environment. He’s been very productive lately with 28, 29 and 23 DFS points in three of the last four games and seven total TDs during this span. The biggest worry with rostering Chandler is how Howell vultures away TDs and rushing production in what’s essentially a split backfield between the two. Even so, the upside and matchup are hard to ignore for a price this affordable.
Mar'Keise IrvingMINNIL63009.74
The Minnesota backfield has been a minefield all season and now Bryce Williams joins Ibrahim and Potts on the season-ending injury list. The Gophers now have Irving and Ky Thomas as the next men up and both have actually had 100+ yards in back-to-back games coming into this week. Irving, though, looks like the first option for carries over Thomas and his three TDs over the past two games shows he’s more trusted in the red zone (compared to one for Thomas). In cash, Irving could be popular vs. a below-average Illinois rush defense and MINN as two-touchdown favorites. Thomas is a solid GPP option too.
Kenny McIntoshUGAMIZZ39006.68
We mentioned above how Zamir White is a good play in this Georgia backfield against literally the worst rush defense in the country. At the same time, multiple UGA RBs could find the end zone and be viable DFS options. Expect James Cook and Kenny McIntosh to get plenty of work in the second-half with a blowout ongoing - and both would be values at their prices if they score or rack up enough yards. McIntosh is the better option compared to Cook as he’s the third RB on the depth chart and UGA usually likes to rest Cook along with White in blowouts.
Keyvone LeePSUUMD38004.91
The entire Penn State backfield has been disappointing this season, but if any of the RBs are going to be viable in DFS it’ll be this week in a cake matchup vs. Maryland’s poor rush defense. Starter Noah Cain is losing touches to both John Lovett and Keyone Lee every week and, honestly, any of the three could find the end zone or go for 100 yards in any given game at this point. Lee is the most intriguing because his 4.9 ypc are much better than both Cain (3.1) and Lovett (3.3). He’s also the guy who scored a TD last week vs. Ohio St despite only having three carries. It’s definitely a GPP gamble, but he could go for double-digit DFS points vs. a UMD defense that’s allowing 200+ rushing yards and nearly three rush TDs per game to Big Ten opponents.

Also Consider:

  • Jerome Ford -- Cincinnati ($8,300) -- GPP
  • Kyren Williams -- Notre Dame ($7,700) -- Cash
  • Leddie Brown -- West Virginia ($6,900) -- GPP
  • Tre Siggers -- SMU ($6,100) -- Cash/GPP
  • Christian Beal-Smith -- Wake Forest ($5,500) -- GPP
  • Ky Thomas -- Minnesota ($5,000) -- GPP/Cash
  • Henry Parrish Jr. -- Ole Miss ($4,900) -- Cash
  • Tresten Ebner -- Baylor ($4,100) -- GPP

WIDE RECEIVERS

Wide Receivers
PlayerTeamOpp.DK $DK FPPGFD $FD FPPG
Josh DownsUNCWAKE870029.11
The UNC receiving corps is very top-heavy and it makes Downs an elite DFS play every single week with a very high floor of receptions and yardage. We can basically pencil in 8-10 catches and 100+ yards for Downs and he should have no problem posting good numbers in a high-scoring environment vs. a weak Wake defense. If you can fit him in cash, Downs is a near-lock as the most trustworthy DFS WR going right now.
Jahan DotsonPSUUMD760022.68
Dotson had been relatively quiet in recent games but he woke back up last week vs. Ohio State with his 33 DFS points, 11 catches, 127 yards and a TD. That’s the type of stat line Dotson is capable of posting every week as one of the most talented receivers in the country. His DFS floor remains very safe with a high volume of targets and receptions - making him a solid cash option yet again. He could easily go for 100+ and multiple scores vs. a weak Maryland defense that got torched by him last season.
A.T. PerryWAKEUNC720020.95
If you’re playing a Wake receiver, it comes down to either Roberson or Perry every week. Roberson has been a great option lately, but he’s a bit boom-or-bust compared to Perry - who’s the better play this week for the slight savings and more consistency. Both should be plenty involved in a high-scoring, back-and-forth contest vs. UNC’s below-average defense. Perry, though, gets the slight nod in cash as a favorite red zone target for Sam Hartman and slightly safer reception floor.
Chris OlaveOSUNEB690022.46
Ah, the weekly decision of whether to play Wilson or Olave from the Ohio State WR corps. Both are always great options and either one could go for 100+ yards and multiple TDs in any given game. On this slate, Olave is the better GPP option as it feels like we’re due for a massive stat line from a guy who’s been relatively quiet compared to Wilson in recent games. You can pair Stroud with either Olave or Wilson and there’s a good chance the trio combines for 60-70 DFS points with the Buckeyes offense rolling right now.
PlayerTeamOpp.DK $DK FPPGFD $FD FPPG
Rashee RiceSMUMEM560016.2
We have three viable SMU receivers worth considering on this slate in what should be a higher-scoring contest with Memphis. While Danny Gray and Reggie Roberson are both solid options, Rice gets the slight nod as the better per-dollar play. All three have been producing similar stat lines lately and there’s a chance any or all find the end zone this week. Rice’s reception floor is a bit safer for cash and he may end up being more popular just because he’s the cheapest among them.
CJ DanielsLIBMISS530013.74
The receiving production is spread pretty evenly in the Liberty pass-catching corps, but Daniels’ TD production gives him a bit more value than his teammates. His seven receiving TDs lead the team and he already has two games with multiple scores. Though Demario Douglas is the headliner in this WR corps, he’s tough to trust because of a recent ankle injury he’s playing through. That’s hurt his production slightly in recent games. Daniels is a bit boom-or-bust, but I’d rather roster him GPP’s if going with a Liberty receiver.
R.J. SneedBAYTCU520013.74
We mentioned Sneed as a good value last week at sub-5k and he gifted us with 23 DFS points on an impressive stat line of eight catches, 94 yards and a TD. He’s still too cheap despite the slight price increase this week and remains a very good cash option. Though the Baylor offense doesn’t throw much, it’s either Sneed or Thornton getting the majority of targets from Bohanon. Both are good plays for a second straight week, but Sneed gets the nod as the cheaper of the two.
Jahcour PearsonMISSLIB49006.27
The Ole Miss receiving corps is dealing with a ton of injuries and it’s something we have to monitor during warm-ups before kickoff. Thankfully this is an early game, but it’s very possible that all of Drummond, Sanders and Mingo are out - leaving Sanders as the team’s top healthy pass-catcher. The former Western Kentucky transfer took advantage of the increased opportunity last week with seven receptions for 135 yards. That’s a great sign that Matt Corral looked his way often and got him involved with all the injuries around him. If we get news that Drummond/Sanders/Mingo are all out, Pearson may end up being cash chalk at WR for the value. Casey Kelly would be another cheap name to consider.
Bryce Ford-WheatonWVUOKST470013.64
Though the Oklahoma State defense is tough against both the pass and run, WVU may need to throw more this week than usual if it’s trailing as pre-game underdogs right now. That would result in more targets for Ford-Wheaton and Wright Jr, both of whom are great values on this slate for cash or GPP. Ford-Wheaton’s floor is very nice lately with six-plus receptions in three of the last four - and coming off a two-TD performance last week. You should get enough targets/receptions from him and Wright Jr. to make both viable values.
Antoine GreenUNCWAKE43008.32
We mentioned earlier how UNC’s receiving tree is very to-heavy with Josh Downs. Still, Green is an interesting GPP value after he broke out for five catches, 83 yards and a TD last week. With Emery Simmons now in the transfer portal, there’s more opportunity for Green to become a bigger part of the offense and see more targets from Sam Howell. It may just end up being Downs getting a ton of looks, but there’s value in Green who showed last week he can have a connection with Howell.
Marcus FlemingUMDPSU39007.9
With Maryland dealing with two season-ending injuries to Demus Jr. and Jeshaun Jones, it’s the freshman Fleming who’s stepped up in their absence. He’s had at least four catches and 60 yards in back-to-back games and looks like a proven target for Tagovailoa outside of Jarrett and Carriere. Both of them are also value options this week, but Fleming should not be priced below 4k for his uptick in receptions and usage in the UMD offense. Even against a tough PSU defense, there’s value here for GPPs.

Also Consider:

  • Jaquarii Roberson -- Wake Forest ($8,000) -- GPP/Cash
  • David Bell -- Purdue ($7,400) -- GPP/Cash
  • Garrett Wilson -- Ohio State ($7,100) -- GPP
  • Tay Martin -- Oklahoma State ($6,700) -- GPP
  • Danny Gray -- SMU ($6,200) -- Cash/GPP
  • Tyquan Thornton -- Baylor ($6,000) -- Cash
  • Reggie Roberson Jr. -- SMU ($5,700) -- Cash/GPP
  • Winston Wright Jr. -- West Virginia ($5,000) -- Cash
  • Josh Whyle -- Cincinnati ($4,900) -- GPP
  • Casey Kelly -- Ole Miss ($4,300) -- GPP
  • Austin Allen -- Nebraska ($4,300) -- Cash
  • Kamari Morales -- North Carolina ($3,600) -- GPP
