Gulbranson may not be a top-tier quarterback, but he is seasoned. He achieved a 7-1 record as Oregon State’s starter in 2022, even earning a bowl game MVP award. Alejado, though promising, has only two career starts under his belt. The Cardinal’s experienced QB is likely to minimize costly errors, while Hawaii’s newcomer could encounter his first significant challenge against a larger, more formidable opponent.
