Paul ScruggsXAVOSU970042.75860039.45
The price tags are surely hefty, but Scruggs has been a DFS stud this season as Xavier’s do-it-all playmaker. With Zach Freemantle out, it’s Scruggs who’s taken on a much bigger offensive role as both a scorer and distributor. Plus, he’s getting it done on the defensive end per usual with six steals and three blocks combined over the first two games. All in all, it’s a pair of 40-burgers for a guy who will be hovering in that range all season. Though the competitivon ramps up vs. Ohio St, expect Scruggs to be heavily involved on both ends to be one of the slate's best performers.
Luis RodriguezMISSMARQ810025.75610024.50
Rodriguez was a DFS beast all last season in a point-forward role of sorts for Ole Miss and he’s doing it again this year. He’s put up 25+ DK points in both of the first two games despite only playing 21 minutes in both. That DFS point-per-minute production is hard to beat from a floor standpoint and we can expect him to be out there much more tonight in a tougher matchup vs. Marquette. L-Rod might not be as popular as others on this slate, but don’t be surprised if he has 30-40 DFS points by the night’s end. He looks like an elite FD play for the discount.
Jordan WalkerUABSCAR730032.5
The South Carolina/UAB game on DK is one to target with the slate’s highest total by a decent margin. We’ll get to some SC values in a sec, but UAB is up first. After being Tulane’s best player last year, it looks like Walker will be doing the same with UAB following the offseason transfer. At 5-foot-11, the dynamic point guard is electric on the court and he’ll need to be heavily involved and on his game if UAB wants to beat South Carolina here - which is very realistic. Walker has 29 and 36 DK points in the first two games thus far and has scored 19+ real points in both. He’s the GPP pivot away from the other studs tonight at likely low rostership.
Darryl MorsellMARQMISS690033.17800030.13
Remember when Morsell was the Defensive POY with Maryland last year? Well, he’s now taken on a much larger offensive role with Marquette following the offseason transfer and he’s a big reason why the Eagles upset Illinois earlier this week. Morsell has scored 21+ points in all three games so far and is leading the team in usage rate and shots share in a point/wing combo role. He’ll be leaned on both offensively and defensively all season for this Marquette team and it continues tonight.

Jermaine CouisnardSCARUAB490027.08
The DK salary mistakes continue tonight and Cousinard should be a popular value at below 5k. He’s not only the Gamecocks’ starting point guard, but he also leads them in three-point rate, assist rate and usage rate while being barely behind Erik Stevenson in shots share. With Keyshawn Bryant out, it’s Couisnard who’s been SC’s best player and go-to offensive weapon. He has 30, 27 and 23 DK points in the first two games and should have no issues going for 25+ DFS points tonight in a fast-paced environment.
Paul MulcahyRUDPU390018.83
Another mispricing on the DK slate. Mulcahy is starting in Rutgers’ backcourt and has put up 24+ DK points with 30+ minutes played in both of the Knights’ two competitive games this season. There’s no reason for him to be below 5k, let alone 4k. Mulcahy should be a popular value here in a tight ballgame vs. DePaul where he’ll be plenty involved offensively as one of the team’s better ball-handlers and distributors.
Malaki BranhamOSUXAV350018420016.83
After beginning the year as Ohio State’s sixth-man, Branham has now started the last two games with Meechie Johnson heading to the bench. He’s put up 15+ DK points in all three contests thus far and has emerged as a solid role player for OSU. At some very cheap price tags on both sites, Branham is a decent value if he’s starting again over Johnson. This is a guy who was a top-50 high school recruit and is one of the team's better backcourt options right now.
Austin CrowleyMISSMARQ300031.88300029.75
Welcome to the free square of the day! Crowley being min price on both sites is ridiculous and we really shouldn’t think twice about locking him into cash lineups. This is a complete oversight pricing-wise because he’s started the first two games and put up 30+ DK points in both. Though we’ll likely see some regression against a tougher Marquette squad tonight, Crowley really doesn’t have to do much to return value here.

Colin CastletonUFMILW  870043.35
Over on FD, expect Castleton to be very popular as one of the only true studs in action and in a smash matchup as well. The Florida big man has a notable size advantage over Milwaukee’s smaller frontcourt and he should have his way in the post offensively and on the boards. He’s already put up some monster numbers in the first two games - including 15 points, 16 rebounds and 47 FD points vs. Florida State - and tonight should be no different as the Gators’ top scoring option.
E.J. LiddellOSUXAV930040.58820038.27
Ignore Liddell’s latest stat line in a blowout win. In the first two games which were much closer for Ohio State, the big man put up 52 and 48 DK points with 25+ real points scored in both. He’s going to see heavy shot volume and offensive usage all season and it continues tonight in a tight one vs. Xavier. Expect the Buckeyes to lean on Liddell offensively to pull off the road win.
Tanner GrovesOUECU840033
At Loyola-Chicago, Porter Moser’s offense heavily utilized big man Cameron Krutwig as the focal point. It seems that Moser will be doing something similar with Tanner Groves at Oklahoma. The Eastern Washington transfer is a dynamic scorer both inside and from the perimeter and he’s leading the Sooners in usage rate and shots share early on. The price tag may seem expensive, but Groves has put up 32+ DK points in both of the first two games. People may overlook him on this slate, but he could easily put up more DFS production than Liddell or any other forward on the DK slate.
Ron Harper Jr.RUDPU780039
Harper could’ve gone pro but he’s back for another collegiate season and is unsurprisingly dominating opponents nightly. He’s recorded a double-double with 32+ DK points in all three games thus far and will be heavily involved on both ends tonight vs. DePaul. Though this is now an uptick in competition for Harper and Rutgers, we can still count on the Knights’ best player to anchor our DFS lineups.

Jack NungeXAVOSU540018.5490017.25
After transferring from Iowa, the 7-footer is now a lot more important to Xavier’s frontcourt with Zach Freemantle out until December. Though Nunge is coming off the bench, he’s making a bigger impact on both ends than starting center Dieonte Miles. Xavier will need his size and rebounding skills more often tonight against Ohio State’s talented frontcourt trio of Liddell/Key/Young. If he stays out of foul trouble, expect Nunge to be on the floor enough to return value with how active he’ll be as a rebounder, shot-blocker and paint scorer.
Jalen HillOUECU450030.38
Yet another mispricing on the DK slate that should make Hill popular in all formats. Hill is Oklahoma’s starting power forward who’s already put up 37 and 24 DK points in the first two games - yet he’s sub 5k for some reason. Maybe regression is coming against a tougher opponent tonight, but Hill will still do enough to 4x or 5x this price tag for cash because he's OU's best rebounder and wing defender.
Jalen GrahamASUSDSU  490016.80
On the FD slate, Graham could be a nice salary-saver if we get word if he’s starting again. After missing the first two games, Graham got the start on Monday and had 10 points, four rebounds and 16.8 FD points in 21 minutes. He may be needed even more in the ASU frontcourt tonight if Marcus Bagley is sidelined following his recent knee injury.
Wildens LevequeSCARUAB380029.08
With Keyshawn Bryant out, Leveque has been playing a bigger role in South Carolina’s frontcourt than was previously expected. The 6-foot-10 big man is averaging 11.3 points, 9.7 rebounds and 29 DK points per game over the first three contests and he’s locked into more playing time as long as Bryant remains out. On the DK slate, he’s simply way too cheap for being a starter and top rebounder in a fast-paced matchup. Highly consider for cash just like all the other values.
Jaemyn BrakefieldMISSMARQ330019.38470016.60
We may have to check the starting lineups for this, but Brakefield could be an interesting value if he’s among the first five for Ole Miss. After beginning the year on the bench, he started last game and put up 22 DK points with 10 points and eight rebounds in extended playing time. Despite flaming out at Duke and transferring away this summer, this guy was still a top high school recruit and now has the opportunity to be the Rebels’ best big man. On DK, he’s massively underpriced if he’s starting again.
