TOP GUARDS
Kameron McGusty (Miami-FL) vs. SYR ($8.7K DK/7.5K FD)
McGusty and the Canes are making waves in the ACC especially at home in Watsco Center. Now they get a high tempo matchup with Syracuse in the highest game total of the evening. McGusty has scored 20 points + in five of UM’s nine home games as they are 8-1 in Coral Gables this season. He was just named ACC Player of the Week after a 20-point, 11-rebound double-double with five assists against NC State and then a 15-point, 8-rebound, three-assist game (after scoring zero points in the first half) against Wake Forest on Saturday.
Jalen Cook (Tulane) @ECU ($7.4K DK)
Cook is a freshman, but coach Ron Hunter and his staff have already turned the offense over to the exciting LSU transfer. He is coming off an AAC Player of the Week honor after averaging 22.5 points and connecting at a 50% clip from the field in two Green Wave wins last week. He shot 63.6% from beyond the arc connecting on seven three-pointers and didn’t have a single turnover all week. Any time we have a player with usage and shot rates both over 29% it is a sign of DFS goodness and Cook is looking at a 30.7% usage (league leader) and 31.1% shot rate. He plays 30 minutes plus; the ball is always in his hands (23.6% assist rate) and as a three-level scorer Cook is in play in all formats tonight.
Tristen Newton (East Carolina) vs. TUL ($7.5K DK)
There are some big-time guards playing tonight like Posh Alexnder, Julian Champagnie, Javon Freeman-Liberty and Buddy Boeheim to name a few but the mid-major level game between Tulane and East Carolina is where I am turning my DFS attention to. Despite losing all conference stud Jayden Gardner to Virginia, ECU has become a better team by putting the ball in Newton’s hands to run the offense. He is averaging 17.9 points, 3.8 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 1.5 steals with a real efficient 118.2 offensive rating on high volume 28% usage rate. A devastating player in transition, Newton is one of the most talented offensive players in the AAC and tonight’s matchup against Jalen Cook and Tulane will be a fun one to watch.
Isaiah Wong (Miami-FL) vs. SYR ($7.2K DK
I am all about the Syracuse/Miami game tonight. Two high paced teams with the slates highest game total plus a Syracuse defense that ranks 14th out of 15 teams in the ACC scoring defense. Wong is on a roll , averaging 16.5 points per game (8th in the ACC) plus 19.5 points over the last five during the Canes win streak and a 25-point performance in Saturday's 92-84 win over wake Forest. If Wong can get inside that Syracuse zone defense due to openings made from McGusty and Charlie Moore stretching the zone we may see a big DFS performance tonight from all three tonight.

TOP VALUE GUARDS
Jordan Miller G/F (Syracuse) @MIA ($5.7K DK/6.8K FD)
Miller is a 6’7” guard/forward transfer from Geroge Mason and has started nearly every game for the surging Hurricanes. He is averaging 8.5 points and 5.5 rebounds while providing a much-needed perimeter threat banging 39% of his 3-point attempts. More importantly Miller is averaging 12.6 points and 7.0 rebounds for 29 DKFP over his last five games and now gets a struggling Syracuse defense in a high tempo game at home in Coral Gables.
Jahlil White (Temple) @UCF ($4.3K DK)
White has broken into the Temple starting lineup and has now played nearly 30 minutes in three straight games. Coming off a 7-point, 7-rebound game against Houston (21.8 DKFP) White will put up a well-rounded stat line. He may not shoot a lot (11 shots in last three games), but he will find ways to stuff the stat sheet and if he is starting White is a solid value at only $4.3K.

TOP FORWARD PLAYS
Julian Champagnie G/F (St. John’s) vs. DPU ($9.7K DK)
After a nearly three weeks break due to Covid-19 issues, the Red Storm are back in action and Champagnie is expected to play. He leads the team in scoring at 20.3 (second in the Big East) to go along with a team high 6.7 rebounds per game. With a 24.1% usage and 30.8% shot rate Champagnie has earned his high price tag but even in a positive game environment it will be a big decision to make for cash games especially with some rust that may have accumulated after a two-week layoff.
Malik Williams (Louisville) vs. PITT ($7.1K DK)
Williams started the season struggling a bit after two seasons of major injuries. He seemed weaker and his lateral quickness and leaping ability were lacking as guards were able to drive to the rim with ease. Well, that is behind him now and Williams is back to being a force in the middle for Louisville, after averaging 5.3 points and 9.3 rebounds through his first three games Williams has scored 13.8 points and 9.3 rebounds since which incudes a 16.4/9.2 stretch over his last five. He has nine career double-doubles and four of them have come in the last seven games. A healthy Williams means a monster game is always possible putting him in play in all formats tonight.
Jesse Edwards (Syracuse) vs. MIA ($6.4K DK/6.2K FD)
Edwards’s price is finally where it should be at $6.4K but he is still in play tonight in our marquee DFS game between the 20th ranked adjusted offense of Syracuse and the 26th ranked adjusted offense of Miami. Neither team has a anything resembling a strong defense and Edwards is as safe as they come this season. Since November 25th Edwards has been between 24 and 41 DKFP in every game played with his last five being 26/25/24/31/24. Miami can get pushed around in the interior and Edwards has a 9.8 offensive rebounding rate along with a 13.1% block rate first

TOP VALUE FORWARDS
Taze Moore (Houston) @USF ($5.4K DK/6.8K FD)
With Marcus Sasser done and Kylar Edwards out (ankle) Moore will need to step up in a big way and he will get every chance to do just that. He returned from a three-week absence this week and played a season high 36 minutes scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds for his first double-double of the season. With a 7.7% offensive rebounding, 5.1% block and 3.8% steal rate Moore will fill the stat sheet and will remain heavily involved on what is still the best team in the AAC.
Samuel Williamson (Louisville) vs. PITT ($4.0K DK)
Williamson has now entered the starting five for Louisville, getting the nod for the last two games against Wake Forest and Georgia Tech. He had a solid game against Wake scoring 12 points with eight rebounds (20 DKFP) but struggled a bit in the Georgia Tech game scoring only three points with four rebounds and four assists. If Williamson can continue to play around 30 minutes though he is a decent value at only $4.0K.
Brandon Johnson (East Carolina) vs. TUL ($4.8K DK)
Johnson is East Carolina’s rebounding leader as he grabs 7.5 per game to go along with 6.3 points and 49.2% shooting from the floor. Not a bad price here for a 25-minute player with strong peripherals – 36.2% combined rebounding, 3.4% block and an overall offensive rating of 117.6%.
