Top Guards

Johnny DavisWISCPUR870037.1830034.97
Davis has been a DFS stud all season and it’s a good sign that he put up 20 points, 11 rebounds and 44 DK last time out after a long layoff between games. The tough matchup here vs. Purdue maybe puts him more in the GPP range of the slate, but at least we know there’s a good floor with his heavy involvement on both ends.
Bennedict MathurinARIZUW840032.81840030.02
Mathurin has vaulted himself into the NBA lottery pick discussion with a hot start to this season and he’s coming off an impressive 50 DK performance vs. Tennessee last time out. He’s been a safe cash stud all year but the only worry tonight is how much he’s able to in a likely blowout win. Hopefully he’s motivated to show out at home against a conference opponent to put up big numbers.
Jaden IveyPURWISC830031.48710029.06
Ivey is always in the DFS top-tier if Purdue is on the slate and we should expect a good performance from him at home with conference play ramping up. He’s usually had his best DFS totals when facing tougher competition this season and Wisconsin should put up just enough fight to keep it close in the second half, allowing Ivey to remain aggressive offensively. He might be the top FanDuel stud with that discount.
Dashawn DavisORSTSSU720023.35
The JuCo transfer is Oregon State’s offensive catalyst and should rightfully be considered a top- DFS play on the DK slate in a soft matchup vs. Sac St. The point guard has put up 30+ DK in three of the last four games while stuffing the stat sheet in every category and logging heavy minutes in the Beavers’ tight rotation - especially with some players out due to protocols. For similar production, Davis is notably cheaper than the aforementioned studs.

Other Top Guards to Consider:

  • Will Richardson -- Oregon ($7,300 DK / $8,100 FD)
  • Fatts Russell -- Maryland ($6,700 DK / $6,300 FD)
  • Terrell Brown Jr. -- Washington ($6,000 DK / $7,800 FD)

Value Guards

Jarod LucasORSTSSU620020.46
Lucas is in the value plays section because of his cheap-ish DK price tag, but he could be considered a top overall option considering how he’s playing lately. The Oregon State shooting guard is on fire with 24+ real points in three straight games and 34, 28 and 40 DK in those outings. There’s a chance he goes cold, but this easy matchup should still help return value.
Keeshawn BarthelemyCOLORE460020.71490019.22
At sub-5k on both sites, Barthelemy is a bit too cheap considering he’s Colorado’s starting point guard who can easily return 4x or 5x value with his consistent involvement. Though he doesn’t offer much in terms of real points scored, he’ll rack up ancillary stats for 20 DK or so with upside for more.
Ahron UlisIOWAUMD440013.58480012.78
Iowa usually runs such a deep rotation of 8-9 guys per game so it’s tough to trust any in cash for a reasonable floor. However, taking a chance on one of the cheap reserves isn’t a bad strategy in GPPs with how high-scoring and uptempo the Hawkeyes’ games usually are. Ulis more often than not gets the most playing time among the bench players as one of the team’s better ball-handlers and distributors in a backup point guard role. He’s been up-and-down all year from a DFS standpoint, but the potential for 4x or 5x is there.
PJ FullerUWARIZ360017.38550015.83
Even though Washington will likely lose by a lot to Arizona tonight, we can still find some value on this squad. Fuller is one guy to consider as UW’s sixth-man who can easily put up 20-30 DK points like he’s done a few times this season. That would smash value on the DK slate especially.

Other Value Guards to Consider:

  • William FitzPatrick -- Sacramento State ($5,300 DK Only)
  • Chucky Hepurn -- Wisconsin ($4,400 DK / $4,800 FD)
  • Justin Kier -- Arizona ($4,200 DK / $4,900 FD)
  • Nique Clifford -- Colorado ($4,000 DK / NA on FD)
  • Dexter Akanno -- Oregon State ($3,400 DK Only)

Top Forwards

Keegan MurrayIOWAUMD900043.67850041.68
Murray continues to be a DFS stud as Iowa’s best player and he’s coming off an impressive performance of 29 points, 10 rebounds and 59 DK. He now has 50+ DK in two of the last three games and is averaging 46 DK at home so far. Though the competition gets tougher tonight vs. Maryland, he can easily anchor cash lineups at this point with his heavy usage on both ends in a high-total game.
Azuolas TubelisARIZUW850031790029.43
Though he’s coming off a terrible outing vs. Tennessee that included just 10 DK in 14 minutes due to foul trouble, Tubelis should bounce back in a much easier matchup tonight at home. The Arizona big man is averaging 34 DK per game at home thus far and can get back to that production against a below-average Washington frontcourt.
Warith AlatisheORSTSSU820026.19
Alatishe has been up-and-down from a DFS standpoint this season but he’s on a roll lately with 33 and 34 DK in the last two games, the most recent coming against Utah. Ideally the Beavs’ best player takes advantage of tonight’s easier matchup and puts up a third straight good performance. However, the risk at 20 DK or less makes him a GPP play only for now.
Zach EdeyPURWISC780028.95680027.21
Edey continues to come off the bench and split time with Trevion Williams at Purdue’s center spot. However this move to the bench has allowed the talented big man to be even more efficient DFS-wise when he comes into the game and faces opposing frontcourts that have already had to deal with Williams down low. As much as we’d like to play Williams, it’s hard to pay for him over Edey for similar production.

Other Top Forwards to Consider:

  • Trevion Williams -- Purdue ($8,800 DK / $8,200 FD)
  • Jabari Walker -- Colorado ($7,700 DK / $6,500 FD)

Value Forwards

Steven CrowlWISCPUR500017.48470016.28
Wisconsin will need Crowl’s 7-foot frame even more tonight to match up with Trevion Williams and Zach Edey. If he can stay out of foul trouble, the DFS ceiling is pretty high for a guy that could be busy on the boards and may take on a bigger offensive role if Wisconsin needs it.
Julian ReeseUMDIOWA450016.23460015.07
Most of the Terps’ regulars are overpriced right now, so it’s tough to roster them in cash. In this pace-boost matchup vs. Iowa, though, taking a chance on Reese could be the way to go. The freshman could easily return value as Maryland’s sixth-man who could see more playing time against a taller lineup tonight. The potential for 4x or 5x return is real at these cheap tags.
Mason GillisPURWISC450011.78470011.13
Gillis entered Purdue’s starting lineup last game with Caleb Furst out due to COVID protocols and that may be the case again tonight. If so, then Gillis would be a nice value since he put up 21 DK in the expanded role last time out. He could be a popular cash value if starting again at sub-5k on both sites.
Emmitt Matthews Jr.UWARIZ430019.15480017.44
The DFS production is very inconsistent for Matthews Jr, but he has shown upside for 30+ DK multiple times this season and we’ll take that all day at these sub-5k tags. At least we know the West Virginia transfer will be playing nearly the whole game (barring foul trouble) in a tight rotation - and he can play multiple positions across the whole frontcourt to give Washington some versatility in trying to defend Arizona. The ancillary stat production alone should help him return value in tonight’s uptempo environment.

Other Value Forwards to Consider:

  • Oumar Ballo -- Arizona ($4,300 DK / $5,100 FD)
  • Tristan da Silva -- Colorado ($4,200 DK / $4,800 FD)
  • Roman Silva -- Oregon State ($3,900 DK Only)
