Tevin Brown (Murray State) @ AUB ($8.1K DK/8.0K FD)

Brown is coming off back-to-back OVC Player of the Week awards after scoring a career high 33 points (including 7-of-14 3-pointers) and nine rebounds against Chattanooga on Saturday. Over the last week he has averaged 21.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 2.0 steals and a block while hitting 44% from the field and 41% from beyond the arc. Brown is a star but will be facing a strong Auburn defense tonight putting him in GPP play only.

Kennedy Chandler (Tennessee) vs. ARIZ ($7.8K DK/8.1K FD)

This kid is a borderline lottery pick in next spring’s NBA draft and a scoring point guard that controls the entire court like a fifth-year senior. Yet Chandler is only a freshman and the only freshman in the nation averaging over 14 points and five assists per game. Great game environment tonight with two high paced teams in what should be a tight contest. 

Kyler Edwards (Houston) vs. TXST ($6.7K DK)

Edwards is settling in nicely in the shooting guard spot for Houston and is playing every minute of the game- which means DFS goodness. His usage and shot rates are now above 20% and he is averaging 23 fantasy points over his last five games. Take a $1,200 price decrease from last game on DraftKings and Edwards becomes a top point per dollar play on a team with a 74.75 expected implied total.

Ledarrius Brewer (Eastern Tennessee) @UGA ($4.7K DK)

Brewer is a lock tonight at this price on DraftKings. He is arguably the team’s best player scoring 30+ DKFP in four of his last five games and leads the squad in usage (28.2%). He isn’t afraid to shoot as shown by his 30.4% shot rate to go along with a team leading 12.7-point average and second best rebounding at 6.1 boards per game. Top overall guard value in a pace up game

Kario Oquendo (Georgia) vs. ETS ($4.3K DK)

Georgia will be playing their third game in five days and Oquendo is coming off a 21-point performance in their 85-79 win over Western Carolina. He is one of only two players to start every game for the Bulldogs this season and is the team’s usage leader over the last 10 games (24.2%). With a shot rate of 24.6% and 3.3% block rate Oquendo is another DK misprice tonight. 

Eric Gaines (LSU) vs. LIPS ($4.2K DK)

Gaines is coming off arguably his best game at LSU as he played a great floor game coming off the bench and ended with four steals and seven points (22.5 DKFP) last Saturday against Louisiana Tech. LSU is big favorites tonight with the highest implied score on the slate so Gaines should see at least 25 minutes plus he has not scored less than 19.5 DKFP over the entire season. $4.2K is not too bad for a player with a 23.9 assist, 3.4 block and 4.1 steal rate when on the floor.

TOP FORWARDS

 

Walker Kessler (Auburn) vs. MURR ($7.7K DK/7.9K FD)

Kessler is getting more comfortable with every game that passes, especially around the rim where he has emerged as a top scoring threat for the Tigers. His defense is elite as he has a 35.9% combined rebounding and 17.1% block rate. Over the last two games he has poured in 33 combined points on 71% shooting plus 17 rebounds and nine blocks. Both Kessler and teammate Jabari Smith ($8.6K DK) are both strong plays in all formats tonight in a pace up game with the second highest game total score of the slate.

Tari Eason (LSU)/Darius Days (LSU) vs. LIPS ($7.8K/$7.5K DK)

Lipscomb has a horrible defense and is a pace up team. So, load up on LSU and you want at least one of Eason or Days in your lineup tonight. Eason doesn’t start but is putting up huge rate with a 29.3% usage, 30.5% shot, 33.6% combined rebounding and 8.1% block rate. He is also the team’s leading scorer all while only playing an average of 23.5 minutes a game. 

Days leads LSU in minutes and rebounds (9.0) and is second in scoring behind only Eason at 12.9 points a game. He is coming off a monster game last Saturday with a double-double (13 pts/18 rebounds) against Louisiana Tech for 42 DKFP and could be in line for a similar performance tonight.

Keve Aluma (Virginia Tech) @DUKE ($7.3K DK/$6.8K FD)

After a slow start Aluma is coming around and gets a big test tonight to see who is one of the best posts in the ACC as he faces off with Paolo Banchero and Duke. He is averaging 14.2 points, 6.1 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game and is great at drawing fouls. So, Aluma could have a big one here if he can get Banchero or Mark Williams to bite and put themselves on the bench early. This won’t be an easy matchup, but Aluma dominates team usage (26.1%) and shots (27%) and has the experience in the trenches to put on a show tonight.

Ledarrius’s brother should also benefit in a pace up game against a Georgis team that is not very good. Brewer is second to his brother in usage (21.6%) and is the teams leading rebounder with a six per game average. He is coming off a strong game against UNC-Asheville where he scored a season high 23 points with seven rebounds.

Jacob Ognacevic (Lipscomb) @LSU ($4.9K DK)

If Ahsan Asadullah remains out, Ognacevic is a solid cash value play tonight. He has taken Asadullah’s spot as the go-to guy for the time being and hasn’t disappointed with a 39.4 DKFP average over the last two games. Ognacevic is carrying a 26.20% usage rate along with an 18.6-point average over his last five games and makes for a great point per dollar play again tonight if in Asadullah’s role.
