Top Guards

Taevion KinseyMRSHLOHIO880035.05
This game is one to target tonight with a high total, neither team favored by much and back-and-forth offensive potential. Kinsey is the stat-stuffing headliner for Marshall who’s averaging 21.2 PPG and has scored at least 21 real points in nine of 10 games this season - not to mention 30-40 DK or more routinely. He’s the top cash guard on the slate.
Colby JonesXAVMOR820033.33800031.00
Though Paul Scruggs has been better lately, Jones is still the top DFS target from Xavier right now with how much he contributes in nearly every stat category for a higher floor/ceiling. The sophomore wing is a fantastic rebounder at 6-foot-6 and has legit double-double potential in tonight’s matchup. Even though there’s blowout risk, Jones has proven already this season that he can put up 30+ DFS points against easy opponents.
Bennedict MathurinARIZNORCO760031.78
Mathurin has been showing out lately with highlight-reel dunks and scoring outbursts. He’s quickly rising up NBA Draft boards and seems pretty motivated to prove his talent - even against lesser opponents like tonight. There’s some blowout risk here which makes it risky in cash if Mathurin doesn’t produce before the game is in hand - but the GPP upside is definitely there.
Mark SearsOHIOMRSHL730030.28
After taking a backseat to Jason Preston last year, Sears is now running point as the main catalyst for Ohio’s offense. In a major pace-boost spot here, he might be one of the top plays overall for a solid price compared to other top-tier guards in action. We know his floor is safe with heavy usage and shot volume, and the uptempo atmosphere should help him put up 30-40 DK points.
Damian DunnTEMPUCF680025.3630023.59
Dunn was already one of Temple’s best players but he’s now seeing heavier offensive usage with Khalif Battle out for the year. In a combo guard role, Dunn has put up 44, 28 and 26 DK points in the three games with Battle out - which is a much higher DFS floor than we previously saw from him this season. Even against a tough UCF team, Dunn will have the ball in his hands a ton to return value.

Other Top Guards to Consider:

  • Johnny Davis -- Wisconsin ($9,000 DK Only)
  • Andrew Taylor -- Marshall ($8,100 DK Only)
  • Jeremiah Williams -- Temple ($6,000 DK / $6,900 FD)

Adrian Baldwin Jr.VCUFAU520025.75
The sophomore just returned from injury last week and immediately moved into the starting lineup in his two games back. Baldwin was VCU’s starting point guard all last year as a freshman and it looks like he’ll have that role moving forward. In those two games, he put up 25 and 26 DK points with 10 total steals and heavy usage rates. We’ll take that all day in this 5k range.
Nate JohnsonXAVMOR470021.82590019.21
Johnson continues to be a bit underpriced on DK for what he’s proven this season. Though the senior is coming off a dud effort vs. Cincy over the weekend, he should bounce back against a lesser opponent tonight. It was just last week when Johnson had scored in double figures for four straight and six of seven games while putting up 20+ DFS points on a normal basis. The FD tag is appropriate, but this is too cheap on DK.
Tai StricklandTEMPUCF440015.53510014.25
Strickland is one of a few Temple players who’s now getting a bump in usage and playing time with Khalif Battle out for the season. Since returning from a thigh injury, Strickland has logged 34 and 24 minutes the last two games and exploded for 21 real points and 36 DK in one of those. There’s upside for him to smash value at these price tags if he performs like that again - and at least we know the opportunity is there with Battle out.
Miles BrownOHIOMRSHL410016.44
Let’s find a cheap way to get exposure to one of DK’s high total matchups. Brown is Ohio’s starting shooting guard who regularly plays 25-30 minutes (barring foul trouble) and puts up just enough ancillary stat production to provide 15-20 DK on a good day. He’ll get a pace-up matchup tonight and is too cheap at $4100.

Other Value Guards to Consider:

  • Brandon Mahan -- UCF ($5,500 DK / $5,300 FD)
  • Jaylen Clark -- UCLA ($4,500 DK Only)
  • Ethan Anderson -- USC ($4,300 DK / $4,800 FD)
  • Jahlil White -- Temple ($4,000 DK / $4,800 FD)
  • David Early -- Marshall ($3,900 DK Only)

Top Forwards

Isaiah MobleyUSCUCIR920035.35860032.71
Mobley is a top play on both sites tonight and should end up being popular in cash or GPP formats. The USC big man is a double-double machine lately with four in the last five games and 40+ DK points in each. UC Irvine is a slightly tougher matchup, but Mobley should have no issues putting up another double-double or better as the Trojans’ best player and go-to offensive option.
Jaime Jaquez Jr.UCLAALST850029.89
We have UCLA in action on DK as the late-night hammer, so it might be a good idea to get a player or two from that game. The only issue is a blowout likely coming with the Bruins as massive favorites - which limits the upside for any of their studs. If you were going to play one, Jaquez has a slightly better floor/ceiling combo than any of Juzang, Campbell or Bernard. Limit exposure to GPPs here though.
Azuolas TubelisARIZNORCO750030.56
Tubelis has been a great DFS play all season and that should continue tonight against a soft opponent. There’s definitely some blowout risk as with Mathurin, but the Zona big man has proven multiple times already that he can put up 30 DK or so in easy wins. He presents a mismatch vs. NorCol’s mostly undersized frontcourt and should feast in the paint.
Obinna Anochili-KillenMRSHLOHIO680033.35
Remember when this guy was sub-4k back on a November slate? Well, those days are over as DK has caught up to his consistent DFS dominance and priced him accordingly. The Marshall big man has put up 30+ DK nearly every time out with a solid floor of rebounds, blocks and double-digit points scored. There is some slight foul risk, though, but he should end up popular in cash tonight.

Other Top Forwards to Consider:

  • Johni Broome -- Morehead State ($8,400 DK / $8,400 FD)
  • Jason Carter -- Ohio ($7,300 DK Only)
  • Vince Williams Jr. -- VCU ($6,900 DK Only)

Value Forwards

Levi Stockard IIIVCUFAU540018.8
VCU’s senior center has put up 19, 24 and 28 DK the last three games with teammate Hason Ward out with an ankle injury. Stockard’s minutes and role are much safer in the frontcourt if Ward is out again tonight, and that keeps his DFS floor safe enough for cash.
Max AgbonkpoloUSCUCIR490017.5560016.23
Agbonkpolo has been bouncing in and out of the starting lineup lately, but it hasn’t affected his playing time, role or DFS production much. He’s usually good for 15-20 DK points or more and has had some of his best DFS performances against subpar opponents - similar to UC Irvine tonight. There isn’t much value to go around in the 5k range or below, but the Trojans’ junior wing is a nice salary-saver.
Peyton WatsonUCLAALST440012.17
Watson usually gets overshadowed for DFS and real life on a loaded UCLA team, but his NBA-ready talent is still there. The five-star freshman usually sees a bigger role in the Bruins’ blowout wins and could easily put up 20+ DK tonight against an easy opponent where he’ll get more run and usage offensively. Plus, this gives you exposure in the late-night hammer on DK.
Oumar BalloARIZNORCO390015.67
The former Gonzaga transfer is the clear backup big to Tubelis and Koloko in Arizona’s frontcourt, but he can still return value in a likely blowout tonight. Ballo’s best DFS performances this season have come against soft opponents where he gets more minutes and a bigger offensive role. We’re talking legit possibility at 20+ DK at sub-4k price.
