Top Guards
| Player | Team | Opp. | DK $ | DK FPPG | FD $ | FD FPPG | |
| Caleb Love | UNC | FUR | 7900 | 31.42 | 8100 | 27.88 | |
| In a point/shooting guard combo role, Love is looking more and more comfortable in the UNC offense and he’s rightfully a top DFS play tonight in a high-total matchup. He’s put up 17+ real points and 31+ DFS points in three straight games, including a pair of impressive outings vs. Michigan and Georgia Tech. Ideally this game vs. Furman doesn’t turn into a blowout and we get a full allotment of Love and the Heels. | |||||||
| Jaden Shackelford | BAMA | MEM | 7200 | 32.61 | 8000 | 28.99 | |
| We’ll be targeting against Memphis all season for DFS and thankfully we get Alabama in that spot tonight. Shackelford leads the Tide in shots share (27.8%) and is shooting a lethal 45% from three so far. He’s also one of the better rebounders on the team and that keeps his DFS floor pretty safe while his shooting provides a high upside. You can easily play multiple Bama guards in the same lineup, but make sure Shackelford is one of them. | |||||||
| Alex Hunter | FUR | UNC | 6300 | 30.75 | 6800 | 27.72 | |
| Both sides of this UNC-Furman matchup are ideal for DFS and Hunter is a great way to get a piece of the high-total game. The Furman point guard has put up 31+ DK points in seven of 10 games thus far while averaging 17.6 PPG and having enough ancillary stat production for a cash floor. The matchup vs. UNC shouldn’t scare us off too much either, and Hunter previously put up 36 DK vs. Louisville. | |||||||
| Ryan Nembhard | CRE | ASU | 5700 | 27.05 | 6200 | 24.42 | |
| Creighton’s dynamic freshman is a true stat-stuffer while running the point and his floor is pretty safe for cash. He’s actually a bit too cheap on both sites for the potential at 30 DFS points while he should give you 20-25 at least. Nembhard could go overlooked compared to players in the other high-scoring games tonight - making for a nice contrarian play. | |||||||
| JD Davison | BAMA | MEM | 5300 | 23.42 | 6900 | 20.99 | |
| Davison is fairly priced on FD, but he’s a massive value on DK in the 5k range - and it should make him popular in all formats. The talented freshman comes off the bench for Bama but he logs starter-level minutes as one of their core playmakers offensively. He should be motivated to have a big game here against Memphis’ top frosh - and the fast-paced atmosphere will help Davison put up cash-level numbers. | |||||||
Other Top Guards to Consider:
- Marcus Sasser -- Houston ($8,500 DK Only)
- Kennedy Chandler -- Tennessee ($7,500 DK Only)
- Jahvon Quinerly -- Alabama ($6,900 DK / $7,600 FD)
- RJ Davis -- North Carolina ($6,700 DK / $5,400 FD)
Value Guards
| Player | Team | Opp. | DK $ | DK FPPG | FD $ | FD FPPG | |
| Nick Honor | CLEM | MIAOH | 5200 | 22.52 | |||
| Even though Clemson is playing in a low-total game, some of these players are decently priced tonight for cash or GPP. Honor, specifically, brings some upside with his 44% three-point shooting against a Miami OH defense that’s one of the worst in the country at defending the three. The point guard also provides a solid floor while running the point. | |||||||
| Marcus Foster | FUR | UNC | 4700 | 19.25 | 4800 | 17.56 | |
| Finding cheap exposure to the high totals of the slate is usually a safe bet. Foster’s DFS value is much higher since moving into the Furman starting lineup as he’s put up 35, 32, 9, 15 and 24 DK points over his five starts. He’s actually been the team’s best rebounder more often than not while playing the power forward spot and that role (with the increase in minutes) will keep his floor safe for cash with plenty of rebounding opportunities. | |||||||
| Jamal Shead | UH | ULL | 4600 | 21.82 | |||
| It’s hard to truly trust any starters or reserves for Houston in a blowout scenario, but Shead is tempting at sub-5k. The sophomore has been a much better DFS play since moving into the starting lineup the last five games with 37, 32 and 21 DK in three of those. Those 30+ point efforts also came in blowout wins too, so we know he can get it done in a similar situation tonight. | |||||||
| Zakai Zeigler | TENN | SCSPA | 3800 | 15.31 | |||
| It’s always risky rostering reserve players in a likely blowout scenario due to unpredictable playing time and DFS production. However, that exact situation could help Ziegler tonight. The freshman is Tennessee’s backup point guard but has the third-highest usage rate on the team as the offense mostly runs through him for 20 minutes or more. He could easily return value while getting more minutes in the second half with the game in hand and starters resting. | |||||||
| Tyler Harris | MEM | BAMA | 3500 | 10.11 | 4300 | 8.57 | |
| The Memphis starting lineup and rotation continues to change and Harris was the latest to benefit from a DFS standpoint. The senior made his first start of the year last game and instantly played a season-high 25 minutes. The increase in playing time and role helped him finish with 15 real points and 24 DK on double-digit shot attempts. We’ll see if he’s starting again tonight, but he would be a nice value if that’s the case. | |||||||
Other Value Guards to Consider:
- Tramon Mark -- Houston ($5,300 DK Only)
- Conley Garrison -- Furman ($5,000 DK / $5,200 FD)
- Shawn Williams -- Arkansas Pine Bluff ($4,900 DK Only)
- Earl Timberlake -- Memphis ($4,600 DK / $4,800 FD)
Top Forwards
| Player | Team | Opp. | DK $ | DK FPPG | FD $ | FD FPPG | |
| Wendell Moore Jr. | DUKE | SCST | 9200 | 38.69 | |||
| Since we have Duke on the DK slate, both Wendell Moore and Paolo Banchero have to be considered in all formats. Though Banchero is unquestionably the top talent, Moore has been better for DFS this season with production in nearly every stat category and per-game averages of 17.8 points, 6.5 rebounds, 5.6 assists and 2.0 steals. Even with a blowout coming, it hasn’t affected Moore for DFS previously this season (like his triple-double vs. Army). | |||||||
| Armando Bacot | UNC | FUR | 9000 | 34.17 | 7900 | 31.81 | |
| Bacot has been a beast in the paint for UNC all season and that should continue tonight against Furman’s undersized frontcourt. Bacot has been good for 30+ DK in seven of the last nine games and the only time he struggled was against Purdue. We can easily get a double-double and 40+ DFS points from the Heels’ big man tonight in a high-total matchup. | |||||||
| Jalen Duren | MEM | BAMA | 7400 | 29 | 6700 | 25.37 | |
| While much of Memphis’ rotation is disappointing and tough to roster in DFS right now, Duren still has a ton of upside because of his pure talent. The only issue is that he usually won’t reach 30 minutes in a deep rotation and can struggle with foul trouble. It’s boom-or-bust but the possibility at 30-40 DFS points is definitely there in an uptempo matchup here. He’s also a much better FD play with that discount. | |||||||
| PJ Hall | CLEM | MIAOH | 7100 | 27.1 | |||
| Since he’s not a well-known name and is playing in a low-total game tonight, Hall could be a nice contrarian play in the top-tier on DK’s slate. The Clemson big man should have his way down low against Miami OH’s undersized frontcourt and there’s a real possibility at a 20-point double-double for the second straight game. | |||||||
| Jalen Slawson | FUR | UNC | 6900 | 40.75 | 7800 | 37.12 | |
| Though tonight is a step up in competition, it’s impossible to ignore what Slawson has been doing DFS-wise this season. The senior already has 40+ DK points in six of 10 games with a 60-burger and a triple-double in two recent performances. There’s a chance he struggles to produce while going up against Armando Bacot, Dawson Garcia and Brady Manek - but the GPP ceiling is certainly there in a pace-boost situation. | |||||||
Other Top Forwards to Consider:
- Paolo Banchero -- Duke ($8,900 DK Only)
- Ryan Hawkins -- Creighton ($7,100 DK / $7,700 FD)
- Ryan Kalkbrenner -- Creighton ($6,300 DK / $8,200 FD)
- Charles Bediako -- Alabama ($5,500 DK / $6,000 FD)
Value Forwards
| Player | Team | Opp. | DK $ | DK FPPG | FD $ | FD FPPG | |
| Juwan Gary | BAMA | MEM | 5100 | 20.57 | 5900 | 19.29 | |
| Gary has now started the last four games for Alabama with Noah Gurley moving to the bench. With this increase in role and playing time, the sophomore power forward has put up 31, 21, 15 and 26 DK points. We’ll take that all day at these prices in an uptempo matchup, though he’s a much better value on DK tonight. | |||||||
| Arthur Kaluma | CRE | ASU | 4300 | 18.38 | 4700 | 16.60 | |
| Klauma presents a very interesting value tonight if you want to take the chance. The freshman actually leads Creighton in usage rate and is third in shots share when on the court - but unfortunately that’s only about 20-25 minutes per game. His DFS value is a bit capped because of the inconsistent playing time, but he can easily give you 20+ DK to return value. | |||||||
| Garrett Hien | FUR | UNC | 4100 | 16.5 | 4400 | 14.61 | |
| Finding a cheap way to get exposure to one of the slate’s highest totals is never a bad idea and Hien could be a nice salary-saver in that exact position. The sophomore’s floor isn’t totally safe since he comes off the bench for Furman now after beginning the year amongst the starters. Still, there should be enough rebounding opportunities for him to grab a few and put up enough ancillary stats as the team's main backup big man. | |||||||
| Joey Baker | DUKE | SCST | 4000 | 12.56 | |||
| Baker usually gets lost in the weeds when it comes to Duke’s roster for DFS and in real life. However, the senior has seen an uptick in usage and shot volume in blowout wins this season and that should be the case again tonight. There’s a path to 15-20 DK or more if Baker hits some three’s with more minutes in the second half than usual. | |||||||
