Top Guards
| Player | Team | Opp. | DK $ | DK FPPG | FD $ | FD FPPG | |
| Javon Freeman-Liberty | DPU | UL | 9100 | 43.88 | 8300 | 41.00 | |
| DePaul’s best player is priced way up tonight, but there aren’t many top-tier players to challenge him on the slate. He’s been a DFS stud all season with 40 or more DK points in six of eight games thus far and 50+ in three of those. He’s truly stuffing the stat sheet while averaging 21.8 PPG, 8.8 RPG, 4.3 APG and 1.9 steals. There is some risk here on the road in DePaul’s toughest game/environment of the season - but may be hard to fade in cash. | |||||||
| Scotty Pippen Jr. | VAND | LOY | 8800 | 30.03 | 7200 | 27.23 | |
| Pippen Jr. is expected to play tonight despite dealing with a non-COVID illness this week in practice. The DFS floor for Vandy’s NBA-ready point guard is pretty safe with 22+ DK points in every game thus far while leading the team in usage rate and shots share. Though this will be the toughest defense he’s faced all year, Pippen Jr. is still a solid cash option on this slate - but a better value on FD with the discount. | |||||||
| Tevin Brown | MURR | MEM | 7100 | 34.28 | 6700 | 31.17 | |
| Murray State overall will benefit from this uptempo/pace-boost spot vs. Memphis and it makes Brown a top play amongst the high-priced guys in action tonight. He’s a stat-stuffer who plays almost the whole game for Murray and provides a very good cash floor because of his consistent production/playing time. Brown could end up being popular on this slate at some discounted prices compared to other studs. | |||||||
Other Top Guards to Consider:
- Lucas Williamson -- Loyola Chicago ($7,200 DK / $7,000 FD)
- Trae Hannibal -- Murray State ($5,200 DK / $6,200 FD)
Value Guards
| Player | Team | Opp. | DK $ | DK FPPG | FD $ | FD FPPG | |
| Justice Hill | MURR | MEM | 5400 | 22.81 | 5200 | 19.50 | |
| Simple analysis here: Hill is Murray State’s starting point guard in a major pace-boost environment tonight. Even though he’s been a bit scoring dependent at times this year, the floor should be good enough for cash in the mid-5k range. He’s put up 25+ DK in three straight coming into tonight and will benefit from an uptempo matchup. | |||||||
| Noah Locke | UL | DPU | 4000 | 16.69 | 4700 | 14.63 | |
| Locke has been up-and-down all season from a DFS and real-life perspective and it makes him a volatile play for us. The bust performance could tank your lineup, but the boom game would be a nice contrarian value. It all comes down to whether he’s hitting from three-point range and tonight should be one of those games where he’s making some against DePaul’s below-average perimeter defense. | |||||||
| Earl Timberlake | MEM | MURR | 4200 | 13.91 | 4500 | 12.57 | |
| Despite all the talent and notable names, Memphis’ rotation and DFS production is a complete guessing game right now and impossible to trust for cash. One guy to look at, though, is Timberlake in the cheaper price range compared to the rest of the team. He moved into the starting lineup last game - oddly in favor of Emoni Bates - and logged a season-high 24 minutes with 20 DK points. He had been one of Memphis’ better reserves previously, but the floor would be more trustworthy if he continues to start. | |||||||
| Jalen Terry | DPU | UL | 3400 | 14.31 | 4700 | 13.23 | |
| Since becoming eligible in late November, the Oregon transfer has quickly become DePaul’s sixth-man and is even seeing starter-level playing time with 30+ minutes in back-to-back games coming into tonight. He’s a massive value on DK at sub-4k as he’s put up 17 and 20 DK points in those last two outings. | |||||||
| Paxson Wojcik | BRN | VER | 3000 | 18.85 | |||
| Welcome to the free square of the day on the DK slate. There’s no reason for Wojcik to be min price as he plays nearly 30 minutes per game and has put up 20+ DK in three straight and four of the last six contests. It’s simply an oversight and he should be chalky in cash. | |||||||
Other Value Guards to Consider:
- Alex Lomax -- Memphis ($5,000 DK / $5,200 FD)
- Dre Davis -- Louisville ($4,500 DK / $5,100 FD)
- Justin Mazzulla -- Vermont ($4,200 DK Only)
- Dan Friday -- Brown ($3,900 DK Only)
Top Forwards
| Player | Team | Opp. | DK $ | DK FPPG | FD $ | FD FPPG | |
| Ryan Davis | VER | BRN | 7800 | 30.08 | |||
| On the DK slate, Davis stands out as the best player from either side of this Vermont-Brown matchup. He’s coming off an impressive performance on the road vs. Providence when he put up 19 real points and 29 DK - his third straight game with at least 29 DK points. The cash floor is there with his heavy usage in Vermont’s offense, but the ceiling is capped a bit in a low-total game. | |||||||
| Jalen Duren | MEM | MURR | 7800 | 29.09 | 6600 | 25.13 | |
| The future NBA lottery pick has all the talent to break the slate if he wants to - like when he went for 22 points, 19 rebounds and 61 DK in a game previously this season. The only problem is Memphis’ deep rotation with DFS and real-life production usually spread out amongst everyone. It makes Duren a bit boom-or-bust for us and tough to roster in cash, but the GPP ceiling is definitely there with how fast the Tigers play. | |||||||
| Malik Williams | UL | DPU | 7700 | 28.19 | 7100 | 25.89 | |
| Many Louisville players aren’t consistent enough to trust in DFS right now, but Williams is one of the few that we can roster in cash. He’s an elite rebounder from the center position and has a good chance at a double-double in any given game. The offensive usage isn’t as high as we would like, but there’s 30-40 DFS potential with a solid floor because of the rebounding. | |||||||
| Jordan Wright | VAND | LOY | 7400 | 29 | 7400 | 27.19 | |
| Vanderbilt is mostly a two-man wrecking crew when it comes to DFS and real life with Wright and Pippen Jr. playing well off each other. Wright has put up 30+ DK and a double-double in back-to-back games coming into tonight and is barely behind Pippen for the team lead in usage rate and shots share thus far. He could be in line for another big game here. | |||||||
Other Top Forwards to Consider:
- David Jones -- DePaul ($6,200 DK / $7,300 FD)
- DeAndre Williams -- Memphis ($5,900 DK / $5,800 FD)
Value Forwards
| Player | Team | Opp. | DK $ | DK FPPG | FD $ | FD FPPG | |
| KJ Williams | MURR | MEM | 5200 | 30.69 | 7900 | 28.12 | |
| We’re putting Williams in the value section because he’s way underpriced on DK and might be too good to pass up for cash there. It’s more of a decision on FD with an appropriate salary. Overall, he makes for an excellent play in a pace-boost spot vs. a Memphis team that’s terrible at defensive rebounding. Williams leads Murray St in usage rate and shots share from his center position and will be in for a fun battle with Jalen Duren tonight. | |||||||
| Philmon Gebrewhit | DPU | UL | 4800 | 19.53 | 4800 | 17.64 | |
| Gebrewhit is listed as a guard on DK but is in the forward player pool on FD. Either way, he’s a decent value at sub-5k on both sites with a cash floor of ancillary stats despite not being heavily involved offensively for DePaul. There aren’t many trustworthy cash values on this slate, but at least we know Gebrewhit will be out there for 30 minutes or so in DePaul’s short rotation. | |||||||
| Myles Stute | VAND | LOY | 4300 | 15.75 | 4600 | 14.39 | |
| The DFS floor isn’t great with Stute, but there’s some GPP upside here considering what he does best. Stute is Vandy’s best three-point shooter at 40% this season and he’ll be facing a Loyola defense that’s allowing a large portion of opposing points via the deep ball. It’s a gamble only made for tournaments, but Stute could get hot and give you 15-20 DK points at lower rostership. | |||||||
