Fantasy Hockey Waiver Wire Report-- November 16
Chris Morais breaks down which players to add for the upcoming week in the fantasy hockey waiver wire report.
Welcome back to another fantasy hockey season! As usual, every week, the weekly waiver wire report will help you target some players that you should be adding, or monitoring, on the waiver wire. You can’t win a championship with the team you drafted, which means, you’ll need to be active on the waiver wire to help replace injured players, and other who are just not getting the job done. Let’s get right into it for this week.
Jared McCann - Pittsburgh Penguins - Center
With the news that Sidney Crosby is going to be out for six weeks due to a sports hernia, Jared McCann has a golden opportunity to step up and rack up a bunch of points. The 23-year-old is bouncing between the second and third line, but at some point, he’s going to find a home on the second line and on the top power play unit. He has 11 points ( 6G, 5A) in 17 games, and he’s only 24% owned on Yahoo!. If you need a centerman, McCann is your best bet.
Zach Hyman - Toronto Maple Leafs - Winger
