Sunday’s matches feature a one sided contest between a middle tier BLG and a weak V5. A strong EDG is likely to smash a weakened TES, and NRF look to crush 9th place HLE. There are other contests, but these- in my opinion- are the best to focus on due to their low level of volatility.
PrizePicks Prop Selections
EDward Gaming v Top Esports
Viper (EDG) - Projected Fantasy Score: 20.5 - OVER
While 20.5 is a high bar to cross, if anyone can make it, it’s definitely Viper, the strongest ADC in the lead. While TES has been strong- the strongest even, in the past, their support Zhuo alongside underperformances elsewhere lends them to be prone to Viper preying on their weak bottom lane. Across two games, 10 kp each seems like a reliable metric for the ADC superstar.
Nongshim RedForce v Hanwha Life Esports
Deokdam (NRF) - Projected Fantasy Score: 17.5 - OVER
Nongshim’s bottom lane is a powerful, yet unwieldy force. Thankfully, although Deft can be a decent ADC, his support Vsta doesn’t have the muscle to overcome the brute strength of Kellin and Deokdam. Hanwha is near the bottom of the standings after a successful spring, and while I think they can have a resurgence against the lower tier teams, the second placed Nongshim seem out of reach for the squad right now; both their top side and bottom side seem superior to HLE, so I favor them going over projection.
Bilibili Gaming v Victory 5
Kepler (V5) - Projected Fantasy Score: 9.5 - UNDER
Not much to say on this one; Kepler is the weakest ADC in the league bar none, and while BLG isn’t necessarily a top tier team, they’re strong enough to contend with some of the better ones due to their strong bottom lane of Aiming and Ppgod, for a similar reason, we can predict that Kepler is certainly in for an inconvenient time. Kepler is lucky to crack 3 KP a game, cracking 5 twice is extremely unlikely with such a weak squad versus a relatively solid one.
