Quinn Cook was waived by the Lakers on Monday night following the team's 127-124 loss to the Wizards, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Shams reported that this decision was tough for the Lakers because they value Cook's presence and character, but the move now gives them two open roster spots and clears up some salary cap which they'll need for players in the buyout market.
