According to NBC Sports Bay Area's James Ham, the Kings are not concerned with the recent frustrations voiced by Buddy Hield.
Hield has reportedly stopped answering Luke Walton's calls, as a relationship that began to go bad when the shooting guard was moved to the bench remains on the ropes. But that won't make GM Monte McNair more likely to trade Hield, whose four-year contract extension goes into effect next season. Part of the reason why the Kings are willing to wait this out is that it isn't the first time that Hield has made his frustration known, with past issues with Dave Joerger and Vlade Divac serving as examples. Bogdan Bogdanovic, who replaced Hield in the starting lineup, will be a restricted free agent this summer so that will likely have a greater impact on Hield's future role in Sacramento than his refusing to answer the phone.
