B. McKinney - LF
McKinney is out of the lineup for the second straight day Monday against the Astros.
The back-to-back off days follow a stretch in which McKinney start seven straight games. He's gone just 4-for-34 in his last 11 contests. Jonathan Davis will get the start in left field in his place.

T. Anderson - SP
General manager Jeff Bridich said Anderson's shoulder issue "doesn't seem to be too serious," and the Rockies hope he'll be able to start later in the week, Jon Morosi of MLB Network reports.
Anderson was originally scheduled to pitch Monday before he was scratched with left shoulder soreness. It doesn't sound like the injury will prematurely end the southpaw's season, though the Rockies will likely wait and see how he feels in the coming days before clearing him to rejoin the rotation. Jon Gray is starting in Anderson's place Monday, while Tuesday's starter has yet to be determined.

K. Morales - DH
Morales remains on the bench Monday against the Astros.
Morales' playing time has dwindled down the stretch as the team prioritizes playing time for younger players. He'll sit for the third game in a row. Teoscar Hernandez will be the designated hitter in his place.

L. McCullers - SP
McCullers (forearm) was activated from the disabled list Monday, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.
McCullers hasn't pitched since Aug. 4 after suffering a forearm strain. He appears to be ticketed for a bullpen role in the final week of the season. Prior to the injury, he had recorded a solid 3.93 ERA in 22 starts.

J. Mathis - C
Mathis is not in the lineup Monday against the Dodgers.
Mathis will take a seat after starting four of the last five games behind the dish, going 2-for-12 with a homer and five strikeouts over that stretch. John Ryan Murphy will catch Robbie Ray and hit eighth in Monday's series opener.
Added 4:04 pm (EST)
J. Musgrove - SP
Musgrove (pelvis/abdomen) is expected to require about six weeks of "relative rest" before being cleared to resume offseason workouts, Adam Berry of MLB.com reports.
Musgrove was diagnosed Saturday with a stress reaction on the front of his pelvic bone and an abdominal wall muscle strain, which prevented him from taking the hill for his normal turn in Sunday's series finale against the Brewers. The injury will keep him on the shelf for the remainder of the season, but the six-week recovery timeline shouldn't impact his availability for the start of spring training. Nick Kingham was added to the Pirates' rotation Sunday in Musgrove's stead and will make one more start before the season draws to a close.
Added 4:02 pm (EST)
D. Peralta - LF
Peralta is not in the lineup Monday against the Dodgers.
Peralta will take a seat for Monday's series opener as manager Torey Lovullo rests some of his starters with the Diamondbacks out of playoff contention. Socrates Brito gets the start in left field in this one, hitting seventh.
