Welcome into NHL player projections central for the season on Underdog Fantasy! Player projections are becoming one of the hottest growing things in hockey over the past few seasons and I have definitely taken notice as it adds yet another layer to a great game experience. Throughout this season you will find picks offered on the Underdog site that I find the most appealing as there are many to choose from so that's why I'm here to help you sift through the options.

For today's slate, we have 11 games on tap around the NHL and plenty of options for player props! I have highlighted a pair of plays that I will be following tonight that includes 2 players around the league for the Colorado Avalanche and Edmonton Oilers! Good luck to everyone on the plays tonight, let's win some cheddar!

NHL Underdog Fantasy Top Picks November 15

Cale Makar, Colorado Avalanche - HIGHER than 3.0 Shots On Goal

Makar is the one of the best offensive blueliners in the NHL right now, you find anyone arguing you on that one and tonight he has a great matchup to go big! The Ducks played just last night and Makar has a knack for shooting the puck as he averaged 3.1 shots on goal last season and that included going higher than his shots total against the Ducks in 2 games with 2 pushes. This season the Ducks allow 32.4 shots on goal per game the 7th most in the NHL and Makar should have little trouble getting to at least 3 shots if not more!

Leon Draisaitl, Edmonton Oilers - HIGHER than 3.0 Shots on Goal

It's wild to me seeing some of the plays on Underdog for the Oilers the last few weeks but that's how bad they have been through 1 month of the NHL season. We are starting to see things turn around though as the Oilers are winning games again and the stars are putting up numbers. Draisaitl overall is averaging 3.3 shots on goal per game but has gone higher than 3 shots in just 5 games this season. This has changed over the past 5 games though as he has collected 17 shots on goal during that time span. The Kraken also allow 31.5 shots on goal per game so with Leon trending up and in a good matchup let's make the play on higher with his shots on goal tonight.
