NFL Week 7 is here and with it come the first bye weeks of the NFL season. With the bye weeks we have just 10 games on the NFL DFS main slate this weekend with a featured matchup of the Kansas City Chiefs at home against the Los Angeles Chargers and the Seattle Seahawks taking on the Arizona Cardinals.. It's time to dig into our NFL DFS Week 7 projections and rankings. Each week we will break down our top plays, values and fades at the QB position to help you build your NFL DFS lineups for the DraftKings and FanDuel main slate.

NFL DFS QB Top Tier Picks

Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs

Mahomes draws this bad Chargers secondary in Week 7 and thus he is the highest priced QB on the board. Mahomes is coming off a game against the Broncos where he completed 75% of his passes for 306 yards and a touchdown. He has now completed at least 70% of his passes in four of the last five weeks.

Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills

The Patriots defense isn't entirely terrible but the Patriots offense is very bad and gives opposing offenses plenty of opportunities to have the football. The Bills offense has dominated the Patriots over their past few meetings and I look for Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs to continue their success this weekend where they are 9.5 point favorites.

NFL DFS QB Mid-Tier Picks

Matthew Stafford, Los Angeles Rams

Stafford had a great first half last week against the Cardinals and then all of a sudden the team decided to run the football for the majority of the second half. All that running resulted in an injury to Kyren Williams meaning the Rams go into Week 7 with Royce Freeman and Zach Evans as their starting RB duo. We should see a re-focus on the passing attack this week and that should mean good things for the Rams in their home matchup against the Steelers.

Geno Smith, Seattle Seahawks

I guess I'm just a sucker but I love the prospects of Seattle passing attack in DFS. DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett paired with Geno Smith is an easy stack to build and we know the Cardinals have issues on defense. The one worry here is that because teams have so much success running the football against the Cardinals is that we could just see Kenneth Walker get 20+ carries in this game and Smith gets phased out much like we saw happen to Stafford last week.

NFL DFS QB Value Picks

Jordan Love, Green Bay Packers

Yes, Love has looked horrid over the past few weeks but the cure-all for bad QB play has been the Denver Broncos defense this season. Green Bay is coming off of a bye week and should be at full strength on offense. I'm going to look for Love to be re-focused here in this matchup because he certainly has the pass catchers to make some noise this week.

Sam Howell, Washington Commanders

Yes, the Giants defense actually looked pretty good against the Bills in Week 6 but on a whole that team is having a lot of issues right now. Howell had three touchdown passes in Week 6 and now has at least 18 FP in three straight weeks. Howell is a flawed QB but that doesn't mean he can't be productive for our DFS lineups.

Kyler Murray, Arizona Cardinals

Ok, so, Kyler was designated to return from the IR today and head coach Jonathan Gannon said he would be a full go at practice on Wednesday. This should pave the way for Murray to start this week against the Seattle Seahawks. He is nothing more than a dart throw but I do like Hollywood Brown this week in DFS and would be open to stacking the two in  a lineup this weekend.

NFL DFS QB Fade

Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens

The Lions defense is pretty legit and the new and improved passing offense we were supposed to see from the Ravens this year just has not existed. Teams also can't run against Detroit which, to me, means this is going to be a tough week for the Baltimore offense and not a week I want to pay a premium for Lamar Jackson.
