Week 13 of the NFL season is here which means bye weeks are back and we have just a 10 game main slate to work with on DraftKings and FanDuel with some notable top plays not in the player pool this week. Make sure you check out our Week 13 DFS projections and NFL DFS Lineup Generator when building your DFS lineups this week!

NFL DFS QB Top Tier Picks

Tua Tagovailoa, Miami Dolphins

A matchup against the Washington Commanders who just fired their Defensive Coordinator and their Secondary Coach after getting torched by the Cowboys on Thanksgiving awaits Tua and the Dolphins offense here in Week 13 and while I would have much preferred this game to be played in Miami, as Tua has pretty drastic home/road splits this season, I just can't not attack this Commanders defense this week.

C.J. Stroud, Houston Texans

Another week in the books where Stroud has himself garnering not just Offensive Rookie of the Year but league MVP hype here as well as the Texans QB threw for 304 yards and two touchdowns while rushing for a score in Houston's loss to the Jaguars in Week 12. This week the Texans are again at home where Stroud has been putting up some big numbers and will face a Denver defense that has looked better but still exploitable.

NFL DFS QB Mid-Tier Picks

Sam Howell, Washington Commanders

I come here pretty much every week and tell you that it doesn't really matter if the Commanders are a good football team or if Sam Howell is actually a good QB because volume counts in DFS and Howell throws the ball over 40x a game. We are in Week 13 and he has had just two weeks with less than 17 fantasy points. In fact, among QB's on the main slate, he is averaging the 4th most fantasy points per game despite being the seventh highest priced QB on DraftKings and the eighth highest priced QB on FanDuel.

Jared Goff, Detroit Lions

Thanksgiving was looking like a disaster for Jared Goff with three turnovers but he pulled himself together and ended up throwing for 332 yards and two touchdowns. He's not the most exciting player but the Saints defense is a bit banged up, it's still a game being played in a dome and the Lions do have playmakers in the passing game. I think he's a good but unexciting play this week.

NFL DFS QB Value Picks

Russell Wilson, Denver Broncos

The Broncos keep winning football games and I keep expecting to see some big numbers from Wilson but they just haven't really been there. This week they ride into Houston to face C.J. Stroud and the Houston Texans. The Texans defense has been nothing special of late and if this game turns into the shootout that the 47.5 game total is suggesting it will be then how can you not play a cheap Wilson stack with Courtland Sutton?

Gardner Minshew, Indianapolis Colts

Minshew Mania certainly hasn't been much to write home about this season but with news the Colts are going to be without Jonathan Taylor this week and the fact that the Titans are generally good against the run and bad against the pass anyway we might find ourselves with a ceiling game opportunity for Minshew this week.

Kenny Pickett, Pittsburgh Steelers

The Steelers had over 400 yards of total offense last week which is something nobody would have seen with Matt Canada calling plays. With Canada fired we saw Pickett attack the middle of the field and complete 73% of his passes for 278 yards. The problem, once again, is the lack of touchdown passes. The Cardinals defense is terrible against both the run and the pass and the Steelers have a good running attack with Harris and Warren so there is a good chance we just get a bunch of empty yards with Pickett here but IF he does find his way to some touchdown throws in this home matchup then the return will be really solid.

NFL DFS QB Fade

Kyler Murray, Arizona Cardinals

Kyler has looked good from a fantasy points perspective in his three starts this season, averaging over 20 FP per game. I'm not loving this week's matchup however as the Cardinals go on the road to face a tough Steelers defense that knows how to get after the QB and turn the football over.
