Trey Hendrickson & Cincinnati Bengals Discuss Extension
After letting up an average of 31 points per game across their three preseason matchups, the Cincinnati Bengals have finally decided to reopen contract negotiations with superstar pass rusher Trey Hendrickson. Hendrickson has put up 17.5 sacks in the last two seasons and was voted to the Pro Bowl in all four years he has been with the Bengals. He has trade interest from several teams, including the New England Patriots.
NFL Teams Make Roster Cuts & Trades

New York Giants Return Vintage White Uniforms
While their schedule might be impossibly difficult for a team that went 3-14 the year prior, at least this year, they can lose in style. The New York Giants are returning their vintage white color rush uniforms. These uniforms were removed from the rotation for one year but will be back for two games this season: at Chicago in Week 10 and vs. Green Bay in Week 11.
Fantasy Football News & Rumors
We are currently in peak fantasy football draft season, which means it is essential to keep up with all the latest news and rumors that could shake up your fantasy football targets and fades! Check out our latest Fantasy Football News & Rumors below, including a Jakobi Meyers trade request and more!
Jakobi Meyers Requests a Trade
After not being able to agree to a contract extension with the Las Vegas Raiders, wide receiver Jakobi Meyers has requested a trade from the team. While the Raiders see his value and do not intend to trade him, Meyers is currently in the final year of his deal and is set to make $10.5 million. Meyers has put up over 800 yards in four straight seasons and had a 1,000-yard season with the Raiders last year.
At WR37, Meyers is currently a value in fantasy football drafts, seeing as he finished as the WR29 in points per game last season. His value could drop, though, if he is traded and lands with a team with a lower passing volume or more target competition.
Terry McLaurin Contract Extension
While Meyers has not been able to reach an agreement, fellow wide receiver Terry McLaurin, who has spent the preseason “holding in," has finally reached an agreement on a three-year, $96 million extension with the Washington Commanders.
Last season, McLaurin was Jayden Daniels' go-to weapon, finishing as the fantasy football WR16 in points per game. With his quarterback going into year two and the contract dispute behind him, McLaurin could be a value at his WR18 pricetag in fantasy drafts.
