Big Sunday slate of games here with plenty of value so let's waste no time getting into my favorite value plays of the day!
Tyus Jones, MEM - We need to see the status of Ja Morant here but with Morant and Desmond Bane both questionable and Dillon Brooks ruled out there would be plenty of shot opportunities to come the way of Jones in this matchup against the Lakers tonight.
Rajon Rondo, CLE - Rondo made his Cavaliers debut and while he only played 17 minutes he did still finish with 24 fantasy points. There is an expectation that Rondo will eventually work himself into a larger role in this offense and we should be looking to play him at this price tag right now.
Cedi Osman, CLE - Osman returned to the Cavaliers lineup the other night and played 30 minutes while scoring 21.75 fantasy points. He should once again be in for a big workload with the Cavaliers a bit shorthanded at the small forward position right now.
Chuma Okeke, ORL - Okeke is getting the start with Wendell Carter Jr. ruled out. Chuma played 26 minutes off the bench yesterday against Detroit when WCJ was out of the lineup and scored three points on just 1-of-8 shooting but did pull down 10 rebounds. I really like his upside.
Brandon Clarke, MEM - With Steven Adams still out of the lineup we should see Clarke playing close to 30 minutes here against the Lakers. Clarke scored 18 points and pulled down 15 rebounds against the Clippers yesterday afternoon.
Robert Covington, POR - The Blazers are even more shorthanded today now that Norman Powell has hit the covid list. Covington had a ceiling game the other night, scoring 17 points with eight rebounds, one assist, two blocks and one steal. He was 5-of-8 from three-point range and I would anticipate plenty more shots tonight against the Kings.
