What a night for the NBA huh? We have an 11 game main slate that is full of action thanks to Covid-19 and injuries that continue to decimate rosters around the league. Like the other day, I am going to write this article a bit differently as there are plenty of value plays that can be used across all formats.
Point Guard
Cory Joseph, DET - The Pistons are without Killian Hayes, Saben Lee and Cade Cunningham tonight which should thrust Joseph into a bigger role tonight when the Pistons face the Heat. Joseph had been already playing a decent role for Detroit this season and he had a stretch earlier in the year when he was starting and giving us 20-to-30 FP.
Delon Wright, ATL - Still a cheap play even after playing a ton of minutes last night and the Hawks still missing their key contributors. In his 38 minutes last night against Orlando we saw Wright score nine points with seven rebounds, four assists and two steals.
Aaron Holiday, WAS - I suspect that Holiday will get the start with Bradley Beal ruled out tonight. Along with Beal missing the Wizards are also without Kentavious Caldwell-Pope as their wing rotation shortens. Holiday has had some moments and while he isn't my favorite play, there is at least going to be minutes for him here tonight against the Knicks to pay off his price tag.
Shooting Guard
Cam Reddish, ATL - Reddish played 42 minutes for the Hawks last night and he figures to be in for a similar role tonight with Trae Young and Kevin Huerter out of the lineup. Reddish has a tougher matchup tonight when Atlanta faces the 76ers but he is still a good value to get in your lineups given the overall volume.
Hamidou Diallo, DET - Diallo played 33 minutes the other night and scored 30+ fantasy points. He is a solid source of production that fills up the stat sheet, especially defensive stats which is rate for a guard. With the Pistons missing so many key players tonight I see Diallo challenging to be their top fantasy performer of the evening.
Furkan Korkmaz, PHI - The Sixers are without Shake Milton and Danny Green tonight which could put Korkmaz into the starting lineup. This is a soft matchup against Atlanta and one that Korkmaz could be a sneaky pivot play off the more popular value in his price range.
Small Forward
Sterling Brown, DAL - Brown started and played 32 minutes the other night, giving us 12 points, 11 rebounds and three assists. Little reason to think he doesn't start again tonight with Dallas missing so many rotational pieces.
Saddiq Bey, DET - The price on FanDuel is very appealing as he likely is the team's leading scorer tonight given all their missing pieces. The matchup against Miami isn't great but they too are missing some of their better defensive players.
Chris Duarte, IND - Have to assume with Brogdon out of the lineup tonight along with Sabonis that Duarte takes on a big role in the Pacers rotation tonight against Houston. The rookie has been a good source of points this season and has a great matchup.
Power Forward
Otto Porter, GSW - With the Warriors missing Poole, Wiggins and Lee tonight we have to expect another big run of minutes out of Otto Porter tonight at a great price tag and in a great matchup against the Grizzlies who consistently sit as one of the leagues worst defensive teams.
Oshae Brissett, IND - Already in the Pacers rotation, Brissett may actually start tonight with Sabonis out of the lineup. Either way, we have seen Brissett at times be a good source of points and rebounds when given the extra run and tonight against the Rocket he should get just that.
Jaden McDaniels, MIN - Not a great matchup against Utah but he started the other day once again and saw nearly 40 minutes of action. As long as he stays out of foul trouble this will be the spot to go if you need a cheap power forward and want to pivot off the more chalkier options like a Brissett.
Center
Naz Reid, MIN - With Karl-Anthony Towns ruled out for tonight we should expect Reid to likely start at center. Now, the matchup isn't great as they face off against Utah and he draws Rudy Gobert but Reid has been a solid fantasy producer when given the playing time.
Willy Hernangomez, NOP - Going to be the chalk center value of the night. He is a fantasy point per minute monster and will start with Jonas Valanciunas out of the lineup tonight for the Pelicans in a great spot against Magic.
