With Utah down two of its most important assets in Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert, guys HAVE to step up. Someone that has stepped specifically when Mitchell has missed time this year has been Jordan Clarkson. In eight games with Mitchell this year, Clarkson has averaged 21 PPG.

As seen by the graphic above, Mitchell has hit the over in seven of eight games without Mitchell this year and the one he didn’t was against one of the best defenses in the game. Well, Memphis is without it’s best perimeter defender in Dillon Brooks here which bodes well for Clarkson.

DeMar DeRozan OVER 36.5 Pts + Rebs + Asts

It’s been the DeMar DeRozan revenge week! First he gets the Raptors and now he returns to San Antonio for the first time! Might I sprinkle in the fact that he was announced an All-Star starter yesterday as well?

Well, DeRozan has been clicking on all cylinders in every facet of the game. Without Lonzo Ball this year, DeRozan has been tremendous. 

He’s gone over the 35.5 P+R+A in eight of the last 10 games he’s played with Ball out and that’s because he’s being asked to do so much without him. It’s not just the scoring either as he’s averaged five rebounds and five assists over his last four games.
