Top Plays
UPDATE - If LeBron James ends up sitting, I'm REALLY not in love with the Westbrook play any longer. He's going to control the ball FAR too much. A perfect pivot, in my opinion, is D'Angelo Russell OVER 18.5 points. With Patrick Beverley likely sitting this game out, Russell is in a prime spot to go over. He's hit the over in eight of his last 10 games with Beverley sidelined.
Russell Westbrook UNDER 3.5 turnovers
When we think of the 2021-’22 version of Russell Westbrook, we don’t have many good thoughts. That will likely be the case when our kids ask us what he was like as a player. His OKC days were great, so were the one’s in Houston. LA though? Not so much.
You may be asking yourself “Why would I EVER bet the under on a Westbrook turnover prop?” It’s a fair question to ask. But what if I told you only ONCE over his last 10 games has he gone over this number?
In more than half of the games, he’s been on the floor for north of 30 minutes too, so it’s not like the turnovers are limited because his minutes are capped. Not the case at all. Let’s also not fail to mention that the UNDER is a -130 favorite according to DK Sportsbook.
Kevon Looney OVER 8.5 rebounds
When it comes to rebounding on the Warriors, you immediately think of Draymond Green, but when Green is off the floor, Looney is the man coming down with a lot of boards. He’s hit the over in six of his last seven games.and over his last 10 games, he’s averaged 10.7 RPG.
Expanding upon that, Draymond Green has been out and will remain out for this game, paving the way for Looney to man the middle for as many minutes as he can handle. He’s been asked to play a bunch against MIN this year, averaging 26.5 minutes and in that time, he’s averaged 14.5 RPG against them.
Minnesota happens to 24th in field goal percentage this year, so as talented as they are offensively, they’re scoring off volume, not efficiency. That’s where Looney comes in and where his -122 to hit the over comes in.
