Top Plays
Isaiah Stewart OVER 8.5 rebounds
There has been a trend with Stewart lately and that’s been how many minutes he’s been playing. It is directly correlated to his production because as he’s played 29+ minutes in each of the last five games, he’s grabbed 11+ rebounds in each. In fact, dating back to November, Stewart has gone over 8.5 rebounds in 12 consecutive games that he’s played at least 29 minutes in.
The graphic above has a slider set to 29+ minutes.
What would be the reason the Pistons wouldn’t continue to run him out there during this torrid stretch he’s on? There isn’t one, so bank on another 30 minutes from Stewart and another big game on the glass. Stewart is a -120 to hit the over according to DK Sportsbook.
Jonas Valanciunas UNDER 33.5 Points+Rebounds
I’m sort of confused here, but also something we should look to attack the under on. Valanciunas has not gone over this mark in six consecutive games, but because Josh Hart was traded he’s going to go over? Not only has he failed to go over this mark lately, but he also hasn’t even gotten to 30 once over his last six games. He’s only gone over this number eight times in his last 30 games!
“But what about the match-up? Doesn’t that change your mind?” No, it doesn’t. We just saw it and he had 23 combined. We’ve actually seen it twice. The under 33.5 has hit in both of them.
For the sake of the argument, let’s remove Josh Hart from the equation. In 11 games without Hart, Valanciunas has gone over in three of them and just once in his last eight. Smash the under here!
