Deandre Ayton OVER 15.5 points

We have no sample of what happens with the Suns this season when Chris Paul misses a game because that hasn’t happened once. He’s played in every game. That said, we have numbers that we can go off when Paul is off the floor.

  • On a per 36 minute basis, Deandre Ayton averages nearly 20 PPG; 19.7 to be exact. 
  • With Paul off the floor, Ayton averages 1.35 FP/min, which is the second highest mark on the team.
  • With CP3 off the floor, he averages .55 points/min, which if he plays 30 minutes, comes out to 16.5 points.


He scored 19 points in his lone meeting against the Thunder this year and has topped 17 or more points in three of his last four games. The Thunder have been starting Isaiah Roby at center lately and Roby has a career 111 DRtg. 


Justise Winslow OVER 12.5 points

The trade from LA to Portland has done wonders for Winslow thus far as he’s stepped into a team that has given him all the run he can. He has started and played 33+ minutes in five consecutive games. He’s taken on a bigger role scoring the basketball too, notching double-figures in all five.

He’s gone over his 12.5 point mark in three straight games and the kicker there is that Jusuf Nurkic was available in all three. Nurkic has been deemed out for the next four-plus weeks and Nurkic commands a large usage rate on this team.

No Lillard. No McCollum. No Nurkic. It’s Winslow’s time to shine and we should look for him to continue his excellent play with his new team and hit the over 12.5 points.
