Top Plays

Seth Curry OVER 17.5 points

It’s interesting to see for maybe the first time in the history of life, we’re getting some leverage from Underdog here. The sportsbooks have his point totals at 18.5 and UD has it at 17.5. Either way, he’s scored 20+ points in each of his first two games with Brooklyn.

Tonight’s game is being played without:

Curry is going to be the team's primary scorer like he’s been each of his first two games in Brooklyn. With Brooklyn he has averaged .63 points scored per minutes played, which is better than James Harden had during his time in Brooklyn (.60).

Washington ranks 22nd in DRtg this year and Curry should be able to exploit that fact with ease.

Jonas Valanciunas UNDER 27.5 points+rebounds

Since the arrival of C.J. McCollum, Valanciunas’ production has taken a hit as has everyone else on the team. Valanciunas’ usage rate has dropped 1.6% and it’s now below 20% compared to McCollum’s near 30% clip. He’s hit the over 27.5 p+r once in the four games he’s played with McCollum and has accomplished this feat twice in his last 10 games overall.

The under is a -122 favorite right now and I’m riding with Vegas on this one. He has to make the most of his shot attempts right now and he is barely getting to double-figures in that category.
