Brandon Miller NBA Underdog Fantasy Pick: Higher Than 18.5 Points

All offseason I’ve been yelling from the rooftops to whoever will listen about the Brandon Miller leap year. The year is finally here and I’m putting my money where my mouth is and I’m listing Miller as one of the top Underdog NBA Picks of the day. 

In five preseason games, Miller averaged just 23.7 minutes per game but poured in 17.4 points and shot 45% from the field and 48% from three. He also had a 24.3% USG this preseason. Miller averaged 17.3 PPG last season as a rookie and was largely playing without an elite passer such as LaMelo Ball. This is a nice pace-up spot for Charlotte in a game with 229.5 implied points.

 

 

 

Tyus Jones NBA Underdog Fantasy Pick: Higher Than 7 Assists

The Suns were adamant all offseason about what they needed; a point guard. It just so happens Tyus Jones is exactly that. A traditional point that will run their offense that features three superstars. We saw a glimpse from this offseason this preseason with Jones implemented as the primary ball-handler and he averaged 5.3 assists across 21.9 minutes. 

Last year in Washington, Jones averaged over 12 potential assists per game in 29.3 minutes. That ranked 14th in the entire league. Now he’s surrounded by the likes of Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, and Bradley Beal. Jones is one of my favorite Underdog NBA Picks of the day and I expect him to compete for the league lead in assists this season.
