Thybulle has found a home in the Lakers' rotation. After making one three in the opener, he hit three triples on 5-of-8 shooting in Friday's win over the Clippers and three more on 3-of-7 from deep in Sunday's win in Utah. He's averaging 2.3 made threes through three games.
The role makes sense. Thybulle signed a one-year deal with Los Angeles this summer to provide perimeter defense and spacing, and playing next to Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves means plenty of catch-and-shoot looks. He shot 39.8% from three across 30 games in Portland last season.

First, the status check. Thompson sprained his right ankle in Friday's win over Miami, missed Sunday's game against Philadelphia, and is listed as questionable for Tuesday. He went through his normal pregame warmups Sunday before being ruled out, so confirm he's active before you lock this in.
