Chalkboard NBA Picks: Tuesday, 10/27; NBA DFS Projections
Tuesday's slate has only four games, so every injury update matters for NBA player props today. Fantasy Alarm's NBA DFS Projections give you a number for every player on the slate, so you can quickly see which Chalkboard lines still offer value.
An All Pro membership unlocks complete access to our NBA DFS Projections and the rest of Fantasy Alarm's premium NBA tools for the full season. If you're building Chalkboard NBA picks every night, All Pro gives you the same data behind your entries that we use for ours.
Ja Morant Chalkboard NBA Pick: Higher 5.5 Assists
Morant has looked like a pure point guard to start his Portland tenure. He dished eight assists in 23 minutes in the opener against Phoenix and followed it with seven assists at Sacramento. He's averaging 7.5 assists in just 25.0 minutes per game, backed by 14 potential assists a night.
Passing has always been part of his game. Morant averages 7.4 assists for his career and posted 8.1 per game in his 20 appearances last season. The Lakers are only 2.5-point favorites with a total around 236, so this should be a fast, competitive game with plenty of possessions. Morant at Higher 5.5 assists leads our Chalkboard NBA picks and is one of the best NBA picks today.
Matisse Thybulle Chalkboard NBA Pick: Higher 1.5 Three-Pointers Made
Thybulle gets a reunion with the Trail Blazers after spending the last four seasons in Portland, and he's arriving hot. He made three threes against the Clippers on Friday and three more in Utah on Sunday, giving him seven makes in three games.
Playing alongside Luka Doncic means a steady diet of open corner looks, and Thybulle shot 39.8% from deep last season. Correlating him with Morant in the same game also gives you exposure to a matchup with one of the highest totals on the board. Thybulle at Higher 1.5 threes rounds out our Chalkboard NBA picks.
