NBA Picks, Predictions & Best Bets Today, 11/1

Our NBA best bets for Saturday are Nets vs. Pacers Over 230.5 and the Celtics -6.5 against Orlando. On the prop side, we're featuring Julius Randle Over 20.5 points and Paul George Over 4.5 rebounds, with more player props listed below. Lines have been moving all day, so shop around before you bet.

Nets vs. Pacers Prediction: Sunday, 11/1

  • Pick: Over 230.5

Both teams rank in the top 10 in pace, setting up a high-possession game with plenty of scoring opportunities. More possessions mean more shot attempts, transition opportunities, and chances to get to the free-throw line.

Neither team has been particularly convincing defensively, with both teams ranking in the bottom 10 in defensive rating.

Brooklyn and Indiana both have the potential to put up big numbers, especially if the game stays competitive and maintains a fast tempo throughout.

Celtics vs. Magic Prediction: Sunday, 11/1

  • Pick: Celtics -6.5

Orlando will be without Paolo Banchero and Jalen Suggs, while Boston's only injury concern is a questionable tag on Mitchell Robinson.

Without Banchero and Suggs, the Magic will have to rely heavily on Franz Wagner to generate offense, making them easier to defend and potentially limiting their ability to keep up with Boston.

The Celtics have been playing strong basketball, winning four straight games, and have shown they can put up big offensive numbers. Boston also has the shooting and offensive depth to exploit an Orlando defense that ranks 25th in defensive rating and struggles to consistently contain opposing offenses.

Best NBA Prop Bets & Other Picks Today, 11/11

Julius Randle Over 20.5 Points

Randle is averaging 21.0 points per game through his first five games this season and has already shown he can take over offensively, including a 33-point performance against Charlotte and 24 points against Boston.

He's Brooklyn's leading scorer, and with the team needing consistent offensive production, he should keep getting opportunities to score. The matchup against Indiana is appealing because the Pacers have struggled defensively, 24th in defensive rating.

Paul George Over 4.5 Rebounds

George is averaging 6.0 rebounds per game through his first five games this season and has cleared this line in all five contests. Even more encouraging, he's recorded 6, 7, 5, 7, and 5 rebounds in those games. He's also playing around 30 minutes per game, giving him a solid chance to reach five boards.

More player props we like on Saturday's slate:

  • Tristan da Silva Over 9.5 Points: Da Silva is averaging 13.2 points through his first five games while playing 27.6 minutes per game. He's scored 14, 5, 19, 20, and 8 points in those contests, clearing 9.5 in three of five games.
  • Anthony Black Over 7.5 Rebounds and Assists: Black is averaging 3.7 rebounds and 5.3 assists through his first three games this season, giving him a combined average of 9.0. Two of those games have come against an excellent Toronto defense.
