We have a huge 14-game major league baseball slate on tap for tonight and that means lots of MLB DFS. The DFS slate starts at 7:05 pm ET on all three sites- DraftKings, FanDuel, and Yahoo.  Make sure to check our MLB Weather Center before lock as well as MLB Lineups, MLB Vegas Odds plus projections, and an MLB lineup builder in our Fantasy Alarm MLB Tools page. This slate is stacked with high-priced arms like Shane McLanahan, Aaron Nola, and Chris Bassitt plus top-dollar team stacks so you will need to find some value plays and that’s where we come in. I have spent the morning researching and coming up with the best point per dollar plays on the slate. So, let’s get right into it and open Friday’s MLB DFS Value Vault.

MLB DFS Value Pitchers

Tyler Anderson (LAD) $7.9K DK/$46 Yahoo

Last Sunday, Tyler Anderson headlined the Value Vault and here we are again. The Dodgers southpaw may not be the biggest strikeout pitcher in the league (16% K rate last five starts) but a date with the Marlins will take care of that. Miami is striking out at a 33% clip over the last 15 days to lefties with a .263 team wOBA. With a 13-2 record on the season and 2.81 ERA/1.01 WHIP, Anderson is sub $8K on DK and is a massive -250 home favorite. Lock him in again as a top value on this huge slate.

Brady Singer (KCR) $8.6K FD/$45 Yahoo

On FanDuel Brady Singer is only the 11th most expensive pitcher on the slate yet he has been of the best pitchers in the game since mid-July. He is entering “stopper” territory for the Royals and tonight will be in a pitcher-friendly Tropicana Park against a Tampa Rays offense that is striking out 23.8% to righties over the last two weeks with a weak .139 team ISO. Over his last five starts, Singer is 2-1 over 32 1/3 innings, but his ERA over that span is an elite 1.67 — as he lowered his season stat from 4.02 to 3.29. In two of the five starts, he also allowed no runs in a combined 13 innings and one of the games was when he dominated this same Rays lineup. In that Rays game (July 23rd) Singer went six-plus innings and threw a career-high 12 strikeouts with an explosive slider that had every Jays hitter looking foolish. Singer is viable in all formats but especially on FanDuel where he is a strong value arm.

MLB DFS Value Hitters

LaMonte Wade Jr. (SFG) $2.4K DSK/$3.0K FD

LaMonte Wade should be a chalk play tonight on DraftKings but it’s good chalk.  He should be leading off in the most hitter-friendly park in the league- Coors Field- on the team with the highest implied total of the slate. Wade has hit three bombs over his last five games and will have the platoon advantage over Rockies right-hander José Ureña. Wade has a .309 ISO/.362wOBA with a 54.3% flyball rate against right-handed pitching while Urena is allowing a .378wOBA and 47% hard contact to lefty bats. This price cannot be ignored – lock Wade in your cash lineups on both sites.

Jake Fraley (CIN) $2.5K DK/$2.6K FD

The Giants are ridiculously underpriced tonight in Coors on DraftKings- with the entire lineup in play. So, a player like Jake Fraley will fly under the radar. Since returning from the IL on July 30th the Reds left-handed batter is hitting .370 with a .423 on-base percentage and four home runs in 52 plate appearances with five multi-hit games. Now he is 11-for-34 with two doubles, three home runs, and six RBI over the past 10 games. Tonight, Fraley should be leading off with the RvL advantage over Pirates gas can Bryse Wilson. Fraley has a .264 ISO/.377 wOBA with a 40% flyball/hard contact rate on the split while Wilson is getting pounded by left-handed bats to the tune of a .273 ISO/.423 wOBA and 5.14xFIP.

Nathaniel Lowe (TEX) $3.2K DK/2.8K FD

Nate Lowe hit his 17th home run yesterday- one shy of his career-high that he hit last year in 157 games. He also is on fire going 7-for-18 over his last five games and since the All-Star Break is slashing an excellent .353/.405/.588. Lowe also has a .398 wOBA and 155.4 wRC+ over his last 20 games (.347 BA). Tonight, he will face mediocre at best veteran righty Dylan Bundy with his 4.92 xFIP, 12.4% strikeout rate, and 44% flyball/hard contact allowed. This will be a nice spot for Lowe who should be third in the order (between Corey Seager and Adolis García) and has a .170 ISO/45% hard contact to right-handed pitching.
