William Contreras MLB Underdog Fantasy Pick: Higher Than 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBI

Love the match-up here for Contreras as Marlins righthander Cal Quantrill continues to struggle against same-handed hitting. He’s allowing righties to post a .439 wOBA against him and has gone six-straight starts with at least two earned runs allowed and four-straight with a home run given up. Contreras continues to produce well against righthanded pitching also, posting a .327 wOBA with a .135 ISO. Looks like Vegas concurs as this just got juiced up to -160.    

 

 

 

Xavier Edwards MLB Underdog Fantasy Pick: Higher Than 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBI

We’re actually going to stay in the same game as another line here gets juiced up to -155 as well. I like Brewers righty Chad Patrick, but he’s been susceptible lately, outside of his last start against a super-soft Rockies team. The .333 wOBA allowed to lefthanded bats helps us here as well. The Marlins can be pesky, especially Edwards who is currently riding a seven-game hit streak and has multi-hit performances in each of his last two. The switch-hitter is batting .312 with a .333 wOBA against righties and should be able to deliver in this one.
