This is actually a dream spot for the Minnesota Twins because the White Sox have made a pitching change as Shane Smith is no longer starting, and Jonathan Cannon is going to be used as the bulk reliever in this game. Jonathan Cannon has been a really bad major league pitcher and has spent a LOT of time in the minors because of it. Cannon has been better against righties on the surface, but under the hood, he’s as bad against righties as he is against lefties. Buxton dominated both splits this year, and he has a .840 OPS, .255 ISO, and .355 wOBA.
