Cade Horton MLB Underdog Fantasy Pick: Higher Than 15.5 Pitching Outs

Although he hasn’t gotten deep into many games, Horton’s ever so close and will get deeper today than he has recently. He has pitched into the sixth inning in three of four starts, and that’s what we need here. He faces a team ranking 27th or worse in OPS, ISO, wOBA, and wRC+ against right-handed pitching this year. Horton has elite control, and the pitch count should be fine to get us into the sixth inning. Cade Horton is one of my favorite Underdog MLB Picks of the day.

 

 

 

Christian Yelich MLB Underdog Fantasy Pick: Higher Than 1.5 Total Bases (1.18x)

This year's damage for Christian Yelich has come against right-handed pitchers, and that’s he has against Erick Fedde here. Yelich has a .253 ISO, .364 wOBA, and 12 HR against righties. Fedde continues to run extremely lucky, pitching to a 3.54 ERA but 5.28 xERA, 5.08 xFIP, and 5.26 SIERA. Fedde also has a .133 ISO and .318 wOBA, but .204 xISO and .389 xwOBA. I really like this spot for Yelich.
